This is about a range war. Lin and Chancy hires on to a ranch ran by a woman. Lin is the smart one but a little nieve. Monford wants to own all the land and will do anything he has to, to get it. They push Lin to far . The whole book is good. The last half is as good of a book as I've ever listened to. I liked how Lin takes care of business once he's pushed as far as he's going to be pushed. If you like westerns with this type of storyline, it doesn't get any better. Kevin Orton does an excellent job narrating this book.
