Miles and

I’m going to start with how excited I was to be able to listen to this audible . I have read the book. Was looking forward to listening while I work.
That being said the story is a very sweet love at first sight story . Where the prince see’s his live interest from act the room. She is playing the cello. He is smitten and she doesn’t show him the time of day because she thinks she less then him . Because she divorced from a cheating jerk who racked up bills. But the prince figures out a way to get her attention and try to make a relationship.
Now Lisabet is supposed to be a middle class NewYorker who went to Julliard and is working for New York Orchestra and going on tour. I am not sure I why she talks in broken English when she born and raised in Us . I have lots of friends whose parent are from other countries and they talk English with out it broken. It made it hard to listen to Lisbet side because she spoke worse then Miles whose language is not English. It made me wonder why and after a while it made me not want to listen anymore. I understand this is my opinion but the way writes directives her and where she grew up I would have felt she would have spoken more clearly . I won’t be listening to the rest of this series.

Miles!!!

Mckenna James always leaves me in love with her heroes! I love listening to her stories, knowing I am going to give my heart away and get all the feels I enjoy while listening! This is the first book in her Royal Matchmaker series and it's fantastic! Maybe because I love music, play an instrument and would love the prince to see me like he saw Lisabet. Lisabet is a cellist and Prince Miles sees her perform, he is immediately taken with her. Being next in line for the throne has it's responsibilities, and now being pressured to marry, he is set on making Lisabet his wife. But will his family approve? Will Lisabet want to marry into royalty? This is a swoony, loving story and I couldn't help but love Miles! Sweet and warm, he is almost perfect. Lisabet is a good match, love her hesitancy as her past gets in her way. It's an easy, fun listen and the matchmaker, Caroline, just makes you want to grab book 2 and see what is going to happen next!

Addison Barnes narrates with her amazing voices. I love her, as she always tunes into her characters and brings out all their attributes. Each voice distinct and easy to know who is speaking, she gives us the feeling we are abroad and living their lives. A wonderful listen.

A Definite Match!

Crown Prince Miles is under pressure to find a bride so he can someday ascend to the throne. He hasn't met, nor does he know, anyone who strikes his fancy so his father enlists the help of Caroline, the Matchmaker of the Royals. She doesn't even need to pick anyone out for Miles because he sees a woman who inspires him as he watches the beautiful cellist make beautiful music at the royal dinner. Lisabet doesn't see herself as anyone special, but this prince is dedicated to proving that she's a princess, his princess. It's a sweet story, with plenty of heat, and shows that sometimes true love is right in front of our eyes.
Addison Barnes does a brilliant job with the narration, giving a clear and concise voice to each character, as she brings them to life.

Poor narration

Absolutely could not listen to the female narrator!
From what I can tell of the story, the heroine is from the US.... narrator is not...or needs help from a speech therapist for articulation. Tried several times but could not finish this book because of the narration.
