La plupart du temps, il nous est difficile de digérer la réalité de ce qui se passe autour de nous. Pendant ce temps, nous avons tendance à calculer les résultats de nos actions ou des processus qui se produisent autour de nous. La rumination mentale, comme son nom l'indique, signifie trop réfléchir à la plus simple des situations. Cela conduit à un schéma répété qui encourage la personne à simplement insister sur les problèmes au lieu de réagir. La rumination mentale répète encore et encore les mêmes pensées jusqu'à ce qu'il remplisse complètement votre esprit, et par conséquent il vous rend incapable de trouver un moyen de faire face à votre situation.
Certaines personnes pensent raisonnablement et ils gèrent de façon productive de diverses situations. Mais il semble d’être une tâche gigantesque pour certaines personnes. Ils font face à la toile vierge de la «rumination mentale». Mais à vrai dire, la rumination mentale aggrave les situations simples. Cela permet aux gens d'évaluer tout ce qui se passe autour d'eux et de tirer les pires conclusions. Quand quelqu’un réfléchit de façon excessive, cela épuise une grande partie de notre énergie, nous rend physiquement et mentalement incapable de prendre des décisions productives et nous fait captif dans un cercle répétitif où les mêmes processus de réflexion se répètent sans cesse.
Voici quelques choses qui nous arrivent chaque fois que nous pratiquons la rumination mentale:
- Quand quelque chose de mauvais se produit, vous pensez aux pires scénarios et vous écartez toutes vos chances de faire face à la situation.
- Vous développez un schéma de pensée malsain.
- Vous sur-analysez et pensez à votre journée aux interactions avec les gens sans cesse.
- Vous lisez trop de choses et cela peut vous conduire à tirer des conclusions incorrectes.
Si vous pouvez reconnaître un schéma qui vous rend obsessionnel à l'analyse des choses et donc de tirer aux pires conclusions, alors il y a de fortes chances de que la rumination mentale est tellement présent dans votre vie. Cela est un démon qui peut vous tenir éveillé pendant toute la nuit et vous rendre incapable d'accomplir efficacement vos tâches quotidiennes. Également, cela peut nuire à votre vie sociale et interrompre votre développement interactif au sein de la société. C'est un problème grave et si important qui doit être traité immédiatement. Mais rare sont les personnes qui sont conscients des dangers engendrés par ce schéma de pensée. Quand vous réfléchissez trop à chaque situation, vous ne pouvez pas faire une distinction entre les problèmes graves qui doivent être reconnus immédiatement et les petites choses que la plupart des autres ignoraient. Cela tache votre capacité à penser efficacement.
