About this listen

Traveling forward, he arrived and departed several storm zones and he watched as Proxima dropped lower and lower on the horizon, setting before his eyes and as he approached the termination between day and night, the shadows grew long and dark and he knew that a great change was coming. Looking back he saw the patient calm of a never-ending day, but looking forward, a massive storm raged like a hurricane as the warmer air from the star facing side raced toward the dark side, where it condensed and shrunk in a continual process of atmospheric transference. “SM1” is the last of a series of 3 books, starting with my first publication entitled “Apollo 19”. It all starts with the discovery of an ancient structure on the Moon, which is excavated and documented during a secret lunar mission back in 1975. What they find keeps mankind from returning to the Moon for a period of 40 years. The second book - “Orion 1” - continues the adventures of Nickolas Roshenko and Jonathan Allen Wood as are called upon to help train a new generation for a second covert lunar landing. It is this team that is finally able to translate the strange characters engraved on the wall and to discover the true function of the alien structure. Completing a three book set “SM1” takes the reader on one final adventure with Nickolas Roshenko. Struggling to understand who created this space craft and why, Nickolas embarks on a journey of discovery that takes him from a small sports store in Montana to our nearest neighbor, Proxima Centauri, where he lands on a newly discovered planet in the habitable zone around that star. In his search for answers, he explores this new world, where he comes to grips with the intention of the builder and why SM1 was created in the first place. As he unravels the mystery on Proxima b, his comrades on Earth are coming to the same conclusions, and between both teams, they make an astounding revelation. Everything they assumed about SM1 was incorrect, and only by changing their perspective did they begin to understand the ramifications for the future of mankind. And if they had any doubts, they were put to rest when they translated a strange binary code, sent from Voyager 2 over six years earlier. A message received the very instant the tiny craft was leaving our Solar System for interstellar space. Will Nickolas make it back alive and if he does, what will his discoveries reveal about the way we view our universe? Will the truth continue to remain hidden or will they make a global announcement that will shock the world? Join them in their search for the ultimate source of wisdom and the answer to every question ever asked since the beginning of human existence. First Contact Hard Science Fiction Science Fiction
