About this listen

This is the first-ever series of graded stories for beginning adult learners of Arabic as a foreign language. It is based on the following principles:

  1. gradual introduction of vocabulary and structure, in context.
  2. frequent recycling of both.
  3. a huge volume of comprehensible input.

The 24 stories in this reader are divided into six levels of four stories each. Levels 1-3 for beginners, levels 4-6 for intermediate students.

Please Note: This audiobook is in Arabic.

I like this series a lot. You should have one year of study under your belt before using this series. Initially when I tried to read the first one it was difficult. But after the one year point it was much easier. I even read the intro and surprisingly thats what it said. To have at least one year of study. Silly me.

Excellent series

I remember when Khorshid's books first started coming out. Khorshid identified a significant and glaring gap in Arabic language learning literature and he is doing much in the way of filling it. He has continued to broaden and deepen his contribution through continuing this series of stories and through putting together eady to comprehend - but by no means simple - grammar books for nonnative speakers. These audiobooks go even further toward rounding this series out and I look forward to seeing the future editions for levels 4 and 5. Bottom line: if you're an Arabic language student, get these. you'll get a high return for your investment.

A Great Addition to Arabic Language Learning
