Publisher's summary
The battle between good and evil, God and Satan.A fight older than time.
But is everything we know about this struggle just a matter of propaganda? Satan, Lucifer, the Devil, Shaytan sure thinks so. In this letter he tries to convince the human race, you, of his intentions.
They are pure.
Everything that was blamed on him was done as a smokescreen to cover more sinister motives.
The Fall? Not merely a matter of wanting to rule in Hell over serving in Heaven.
The Garden of Eden? He was trying to help us.
Jesus? Don't even ask.
With this letter Lucifer tells us his version of all the stories to settle his mind and settle the injustices of this world once and for all. Be careful...you might find yourself on the wrong side.

Sorry... Really? Thrust? Anyway, Danny Kendrick was a down-on-his luck performer who always struggled to find his place. He certainly never wanted to be a hero. He just hoped to earn a living doing what he loved. That all changes when he pisses off the wrong guy and gets sucked into a fantasy realm straight out of a Renaissance Fair. Getting used to a new world is tough. It's even tougher when you're surrounded by axe-wielding barbarians, super hot elf assassins, strange magic, and a jaded System that doesn't appear interested in being charged with yet another companion.

Solid Alternative Take on the Story of Satan
I enjoyed this quite a bit. The "other side of the story" type of tale is right up my alley. If you like this type of tale I would recommend this story. I liked it enough as well to buy the Kindle version so I can go back over it in print. I'm a little torn at 4 stars but I think I could go with a split at 5 for the story and 4 for the narration for 4.5 actual stars. My only criticism of the narration is that the bass level seemed a bit high which made it a little hard to hear some of the words at times, otherwise the narrator did an excellent job with character and voice. I would love a more expanded version of the tale in the future if the author has more to tell. I could definitely see a novella sized story here. Good job!

Never read/heard a book quite like it.
It's really quite a novel experience to hear a story from Satan's perspective. I give this book 10/10, would recommend to anyone that isn't the stuffy religious type.

Nice little story with good narration
Satan's Plea by Nelson Lowhim tells the story of how Satan experienced life in heaven, and his views on why he was expelled.
Minor spoiler alert: He thinks God is a selfish person who bullies angels into following order, is short sighted, and in general a bad leader and role model. As a result, Satan and a few other angels gather together and starts working towards a better world.
It is a funny take on the biblical story of Satan, and should be required reading for christians, since it is clear that the one-sided take they trust in, could in fact be quite different. While not exactly a deep tale, it just gives us a short insight into Satans character and not much else, and is therefore not very surprising.
It is quite well written, and I would recommend it for anyone looking for a short, and somewhat humorous, story to lighten up their day. It is a relatively short audiobook (1 hour and 5 minutes), and the narration by Mark Lindgren was done really well. He set the mood perfectly with a very deep voice, and had a nicely tonal variety that helped the story along.
I end up with 3/5 for a well written and coherent story, with great narration, that doesn't push any boundaries (Well, perhaps for christians). Had the story been longer and slightly more complex, I would most likely have given it another star.

interesting idea
After reading the synopsis I instantly added this book to my wishlist. I found myself listening and going back and forth between, "some of the things he is saying sound legit," and "well now he is known as the master deceiver." Overall great short read and entertaining.

Fantastic!
This is something of the best narration I've heard. Very interesting take on some scripture. This definitely is something that can be expounded upon to include more Biblical stories. It was a great listen! I highly recommend it!

Just could not get into it
There's a lot of biblical references although I am pretty sure Christians would consider this story to be blasphemy. The demon narrator has a gravelly voice so he's hard to understand in places and it seems like he is just ranting about various things.
Some people might find this quick one hour listen fun and enjoyable, but it just wasn't for me.

Sympathy For The Devil
This book is definitely new perspective on the creation story. I thoroughly enjoyed how the emotion and sympathy you felt for Lucifer. The Devil doesn't view it as a battle of good vs evil, rather of right vs wrong. And from his view he is right and just. It is the Creator whom is unfair. The narrator is spot on and carries the tone quite well. Definitely recommend.
