B movie action, but enjoyable

What did you like best about Savage Bay? What did you like least?

Best: Special forces team comradery. James Bond-like plot, and stylized "sets"/settings (think 007, Albert Broccoli movies, not Ian Fleming novels). A lot of action.
Worst: Somewhat cheezy. Military/fighting/weapon inaccuracies weren't a deal-braker, yet author should have done a bit more research given the amount of battle.
Confession: it didn't compare at all to the writing, and plot sophistication of the book that I mistook this as being. Thus, further dashed expectations, in addition to my thinking this was narrated by actor Bill Murray (SNL, Lost In Translation, The Monuments Men).

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

Best aspect: Moving from one remarkable setting to the next, [read the following in the tone of an action movie trailer narrator] special forces characters heroically fight for the good OF THE WORLD!

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Bill Murray?

THE ACTUAL NARRATOR WAS GOOD. However, I joined Audible for this book, expecting Oscar nominated Bill Murray, actor as the narrator! Whose book, by the way, came up when the "Narrator: Bill Murray" link was clicked on the audiobook's Amazon page. However, I can't say Bill Murray (actor), would have been at all appropriate given what turned out to be a shoot-'em-up.

Could you see Savage Bay being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

Totally. It could be good as a high budget summer action flick with Brad Pitt/Matt Damon (if producers found a scriptwriter who's better than this author). In truth, it was written on a B movie level that might have unknown actors, or at best, a Steven Seagal type.

Any additional comments?

As one reviewer wrote, Clive Cussler meets Dan Brown.
