A dark and lovely reading

This narration is a perfect match with the energy of the writing. It’s got a magical, dreamlike quality but with hints of discord. Gothic and sexy in the best ways, with little horror elements. The protagonists come across as authentic—reactive and defiant—and each character has a distinctive voice. There’s also a great use of certain special effects that don’t distract at all from the flow. It was a delight to hear these fun stories in Summer Doyle’s voice.
