Taking away the stigma on depression
A lot of people struggle with depression but many feel like they have to hide that they are struggling. I appreciate how this author was so candid and put themselves out there in hopes that others will understand the various forms of depression. Depression does not look the same in everyone and many times those struggling hide it because they don’t want others to see their struggles. It’s books like these that help to remove the stigma around depression to hopefully have more people understand that there’s only so much of your own mental health that you can control.
