About this listen

I thought I would have time to heal from the loss of Fenris and everything that happened in Germany. The world had different plans.

After a mysterious phone call and a secret meeting, I need to get the help of my family to deal with what comes next. With two dead humans already, the unknown werecat that killed them must be tracked down and put down. There’s no coming back from the Last Change.

With my heart still wounded from the loss of Fenris, I know I’m not ready for this. I don’t have a choice in the matter.

After a well-deserved bread, KN Banet has provided a wonderful next step in Jacky’s story. Great character development alongside adventure and moving the story forward. Would have liked to see more Carey, but was excited to get to know both Davor and Niko better. Looking forward to the next installment!

Banet is Back!

The first title where the siblings truly shine together, and an enjoyable ride.
I do miss the afterwords, though, it feels a bit sad without them, but after the last one, I can understand it.

A Bonding Story

Just finished the series and am completely intrigued and invested in Jackie’s adventures. One part in the last 2 books that bothered me was the pronunciation of Hasan. Has-Anne doesn’t feel right. Hass-on feels less American and more middle eastern like I the name implies. Outside of that… I laughed, I teared up, I felt in touch with the characters.

So many strings to tie up!

My only comment is that I wanted more, felt like it was over too quickly lol

Can’t get enough

This book was a bit slow until the end. However, it does open up to a new story arc, which will be interesting.

I'm disappointed with the narrator because she changes the pronunciation of Hassan, after saying the name one way during 8 previous books.

Overall, Good

K. N. Barnet—-I am so very pleased with this series from the beginning. The writing is entertaining, and well written.
The narration takes me into the continuing story from the first word spoken. Great job Savannah Gilmore.
I am waiting on book 10
