I really enjoyed this collection. Each story was short enough to listen to in one sitting, but still had that eerie feeling that stuck with me. I wasn’t expecting to get this creeped out so fast! These stories are short, but they don’t waste time getting to the scary part. I listened to a few at night with the lights off and immediately regretted it—in the best way. Some had unexpected twists, and a couple seriously gave me goosebumps. It’s the perfect mix of creepy, weird, and fun. Great if you love horror but don’t have time for full novels. I also shared a few with friends during a late-night hangout and we were all hooked. I am a big fan of spooky stories, and this is a great audiobook for anyone looking for some fun tales to scare them. The variety of stories is a great selling point for me as some deal with creatures and supernatural beings, while others focus on hauntings, etc. Two examples I enjoyed was The Scarecrow as some brave friends set out into the evening to destroy a scarecrow that legend has it comes to life to destroy the harvest, and Whispers at St. Eldridge Hospital where another group of friends think it's a great idea to check out a rumored haunted hospital on Halloween. Definitely a fun listen!

I love scary stories but don’t always have time for a full novel, so this was perfect. Each story runs short enough to finish during a walk or lunch break. What I liked most was the range—some supernatural, some realistic, some just plain eerie. A couple gave me actual goosebumps, especially one with an old radio in a cabin. The collection reminded me of Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark but geared toward adults. It’s easy to jump in and out, which made it addicting. Will definitely be recommending this to my horror-loving friends.

I listened to this at night with my headphones on, and wow, some of the stories had my heart racing. They don’t rely on gore, which I appreciated. Instead, it’s the suspense, atmosphere, and psychological tension that get under your skin. A few of the twists genuinely surprised me, especially one involving a missing person and a voicemail. The narrator’s pacing was perfect for each tone shift. Not every story was equally strong, but even the weaker ones had cool ideas. Great variety in length and tone. I’ll be replaying this around Halloween for sure.
