About this listen
A common cold, turning the world upside down within a short-few years; three events happening, one, from the city of Tacoma, Washington, another, coming from the city of Seattle; the last one, coming from an aircraft carrier, while being deployed out to sea, all three tales, speaking about a cold before turning people into something created by a weird outbreak, a disease; something unknown? People must try to co-exist, the ones who were not taken by the disease, compared to the people who are living with it!

Story
Lana Fleming’s sister has vanished from the set of TV’s hottest show, and no one seems to care. Desperate for answers, Lana sneaks in as an extra, only to get stranded with Griffin Hart, an A-list action star with a reputation for good abs and bad decisions. Though Griffin didn’t expect to be cast as a librarian’s sidekick in a real-life thriller, he’s weirdly into it—and into her. Even more unsettling—she sees right through his playboy persona. But their meet-cute soon turns deadly when they uncover a Hollywood scandal for the ages.

Story
Liv’s happy with life in her thirties. She has two cats, one BFF, and no boyfriend, which is just how she likes it. Plus, she loves working at a not-for-profit software company where she can be her authentically autistic self. This is her happy ever after. But when her beloved firm merges with a repulsive rival, Liv finds herself competing with her sort-of-ex for the top job. Sure, Finn had been Liv’s best friend, with his nerdy good looks and their shared love of Tolkien, but there was that one night, their song, and … well, she doesn’t like to talk about it.

Ryder, Garrett, Kenzo, and Diesel - The Vipers. Their deals are as sordid as their business, and their reputation is enough to bring a grown man to his knees, forcing him to beg for mercy. They are not people you mess with, yet my dad did. The old man ran up a debt with them and then sold me to cover his losses. Yes, sold me. They own me now. I’m theirs in every sense of the word. But I’ve never been meek and compliant.

A Gripping, Multi-Layered Audiobook
Scenic Nights is a masterpiece of storytelling, offering a multi-layered narrative that keeps you hooked from start to finish. The authors have done an incredible job weaving together three separate stories that are united by a shared catastrophe. The settings—Tacoma, Seattle, and an aircraft carrier—each bring a different atmosphere and perspective to the outbreak’s effects, making the story feel dynamic and unpredictable. The idea of a common cold evolving into something more sinister is both chilling and intriguing. What I loved most about this audiobook is its focus on coexistence—how humanity struggles to live alongside those affected by the disease. It’s not just about survival; it’s about understanding, adapting, and finding hope in a fractured world.Jordan Knightley’s narration deserves special mention. His voice is smooth, engaging, and perfectly suited to the tone of the story. He conveys the tension and emotion of the characters in a way that makes you feel their struggles and triumphs deeply. This audiobook is a brilliant combination of suspense, emotion, and reflection. Highly recommended!

The three interconnected stories are brilliantly written, each offering a unique perspective on the outbreak and its aftermath. The themes of coexistence and adaptation are explored in a way that feels fresh and thought-provoking. Jordan Knightley’s narration is exceptional—his voice adds so much depth to the characters and the world they inhabit. The exploration of how people adapt to living with the disease is both chilling and deeply moving. The three stories are beautifully interconnected, and the pacing is perfect—there’s never a dull moment. Immersive and Thought-Provoking
What an incredible listening experience! Scenic Nights is not your typical outbreak story. It’s layered, emotional, and deeply human. The three settings—land and sea—are so vividly described that you feel like you’re right there with the characters. The exploration of coexistence between the infected and the uninfected is handled with nuance and care, making this story stand out in the genre. Jordan Knightley’s narration is pitch-perfect, capturing the tension and emotion of every scene. If you’re looking for a gripping, intelligent audiobook, this is the one!

One of the most intriguing and original audiobooks I’ve heard! The storytelling is masterful, and the narration is flawless. The idea of living with a mysterious disease makes this a fresh take on apocalyptic fiction.
