About this listen

Durchaus empfehlenswert.

Zuviel indirekte Rede, zu wenig Dialog

I only took one star off cuz most of the characters are hard to find sympathetic. Still, I’m going to the third book in series now on audible.

Lots of plot twist and action

very violent towards women. Done to establish motive, but over done and excessive.

Also nearly all female characters in the book are denigrated unnecessarily. A policewoman reporting to.the main investigator is addressed as a "Luder" . The other main character is a policeman who plays cards with a friend who owns a pub and is a known to severely abuse his girlfriend. The policeman knows about it for years and does nothing. The Grandfather's friend new is unnecessarily chosen as a young prostitute. , etc.

This sequel did not make the characters more interesting. Instead it showed how chauvinist and narrow-minded they are

It is appalling and shows the author prefers cheap shots and excessive gratuitous violence rather than working on a good plot.

I am so disappointed with the author that I will no longer purchase this series or any other of his books.

Extremely violent and very derogatory to women
