About this listen
“Yes, Tom, if it is available.”
“Sure, Sébastian. I only had the site washed down yesterday. -- Will you need someone to guide you into the campsite, or can you handle it by yourself?”
“Thanks for the offer, Tom. But I remember where it is, and I can park this coach on a dime if I must.” – “It is good to be back at Cedar Key for some rest and relaxation. I would also like to get some fishing in. Where are the redfish biting this time of the year?
Sébastian parked his RV with ease and stepped out, taking a deep breath of the fresh, salty air. The familiar scent brought a smile to his face. He had a cup of coffee sitting outside his coach since it was still dark early in the day. After sun up, he walked to the front of the park and waved to a few fellow campers. He made his way to the office to finalize his check-in.
Inside, Tom handed him a map of the park. “Here you go, Sébastian. And about the redfish, they’re biting near the mangroves this time of year. You might want to try your luck there.”
“Thanks, Tom. I’ll head over there tomorrow morning,” Sébastian replied, folding the map and tucking it into his pocket.
After setting up his RV, Sébastian decided to take a walk around the park. The sun was beginning to rise, casting a golden glow over the water. He also went down to the dock, watching as a few boats left for their day out on the water. The peacefulness of Cedar Key was exactly what he needed.
As he walked back to his site, he thought about the days ahead. Fishing, relaxing, and maybe even making some new friends. It was good to be back.
I wonder if Mara and the others have transitioned in, yet Sébastian muses to himself. And who is that guy and dog sniffing around my coach?
