Karis Begay is the only surviving heir to the Begay wolves of the Alaskan Pack. Someday she will take her place as Pack Mother, which is a lifelong burden she has always carried with pride. It's a chance at a fresh start, and just maybe...the beginning of something new.

Brantt Myhres wasn't around for the birth of his daughter. Myhres had played for seven different NHL teams, and had made millions. But he'd been suspended four times, all for drug use, and he had partied his way out of the league. This is his story, in his own words, of how he fought his way out of minor hockey into the big league, but never left behind the ghosts of a bleak and troubled childhood.

wrong narrator for the job
it was very strange to have this book, set in the Midwest narrated by someone with a British accent. I don't know who keeps making these bad narration decisions but it would be amazing to hear these books with the right voices.

Casper is now British?
Although the story is good and it's the 4th book about Casper & Brendan.. But. when did they turn British? And I'm very happy for them finally adopting Scott, The story was well written And I hope in the future, we hear more about Scott? And there parts of this book that were funny! when Scott & Drax bumped heads together!
But, the British narrator was not good for the story.
