I liked the story line, but the virtual voice just doesn’t cut it. Pronunciations are off. . Need a human voice for improvement and natural cadence

Good story, but hate the bot voice

I enjoyed this sweet story! Pepper Basham, as usual, creates amazing characters and develops them well—even in such a short read. And the details and scenes and history she shares of Bath had me wanting to get on a plane!
The Virtual Voice is definitely listenable. There were some instances of mispronounced words, but that is to be expected. The thing I miss most about a human voice is the personality it contains. But my biggest struggle came in discerning who was speaking. Sometimes an author can help that with additional dialog tags, etc. but this was specifically due to the voice. And, Audible (if you’re listening), it would be amazing to allow authors the option of at least two voices if they are writing alternating POVs. That’d be awesome.
Overall, very satisfied with this charming book!

Watch out! Sweet story may have you booking tickets to Bath!
