About this listen

My first night out in New York, I end up tangled in bed with Alex, my billionaire bosshole.

His piercing blue eyes met mine when my drink landed on his chest.

Leading to the best passionate night of my life, with the hottest guy I’ve ever met.

Getting hired as his assistant was never the plan.

I would have never taken the job if I knew he would be my boss!

Now here we are, working with each other every day.

He made me feel things I’ve never felt before.

And now, regretting taking this job.

His insane deadlines cause us to work late, alone every day.

Maybe he enjoys having me all to himself.

The way he looks deep into my eyes tells me he wants me.

No! I can’t be delusional, he would never fall in love with me.

I can’t allow myself to love again.

I can’t go through another heartbreak, but is it too late…

Loved the story but I knew Miss Blondie was up to no good from the jump lol. I love how it played out and would’ve appreciated an epilogue with a few babies of their own.

MC was great

I hate the AI generated narration. It didn't always come through the inflection of the voice as to the feeling of the character. it also mispronounced words.

Poor AI Narration

Stop using AI use real people that knows the different between resume and resume’ and typically won’t repeat half or full paragraphs.

Interesting story

Not sure I’d call him a Bosshole.

The most annoying thing about this story is the repeating of the same sentence with similar but different words. It happened constantly.

Cute story.

The computer voice It has a hard time putting feeling into the words and the voice for the child was too grown up but at times a kid’s voice was used for a grown up

The money

The reading was OK, but words like resume continually mispronounced. I did not like no change in voice of the different characters. This made the story hard to follow. The story was too predictable with no twists or turns to keep it interesting. Stick with the human readers. They are definitely better.

Automated readers? No

Really like the story, some of the scenes are over described . Too many words to describe what’s going on. One or 2 metaphors to paint a picture is fine but IMO, more than that is borderline overkill. ,

Overall good

It was an easy listen, not something I would revisit but it was decent nonetheless. Could’ve been better. The narration was horrible half the time I didn’t know who was it. Would’ve been better if it was in third person rather than first person. AI narration needs work because it didn’t convey the emotions and message clearly.

Decent
