About this listen

World of Slavic mythology and old religion is not just incredibly rich and beautiful, it is also very much alive and coexists with modern civilization and technology. These two separate and in every aspect completely different worlds are equally part of everyday life of an average person in Serbia whether that person is aware of that or not. Modern world based in science appear to have a deep hold in my country, modern technology controls lives and work of the people even in the , most remote mountain villages, school system is one of the best on the world, extremely demanding, especially is the areas of natural sciences and technology. Most people will declare them self as atheists or agnostics . On the other hand, magic is much part of culture and everyday culture that people do not recognize it as such any more. Knocking three times on the wooden surface when talking about good things to ward of misfortune is one the most common rituals, no one recognize it as a magic ritual, it is simply something people do even if they don’t really believe in supernatural. Another example is moving a few centimeters from the spot where people sit or stand when talking about illnesses or accidents so the evil can’t find them and do same thing to them. Another example is when people talk about something good is going on for a while they will say “may evil do not hear about this”. There are many examples of small magical rituals people do every day not being aware what they actually are doing. Love magic is one of the most important and most practiced form of magic, not only in my country but everywhere. This book will introduce beautiful, poetic and sometimes merciless magic which goal is to bring love and happiness. Horror
