About this listen

In the town of Haven Point, love can be just a wish - and one magical kiss - away....

Computer-tech millionaire Bowie Callahan is about the last person that schoolteacher Katrina Bailey wants to work for. As far as she can see, he's arrogant, entitled, and not up to the task of caring for his young half brother, Milo. But Kat is, especially if it brings her closer to her goal of adopting an orphaned little girl. And as her kindness and patience work wonders with Milo, she realizes there's more to sexy, wary Bo than she'd ever realized.

Bo never imagined he'd be tasked with caring for a sibling he didn't know existed. Then again, he never pictured himself impulsively kissing vibrant, compassionate Katrina in the moonlight. Now he's ready to make her dream of family come true...and hoping there's room in it for him, too.

Super Sweet Standalone Series Story

4.5 Stars

I really enjoyed this story. I did feel like there were so many characters in the beginning that it was a little overwhelming. I didn't initially know which characters that I should focus on; however, it did even out. Katrina is visiting Haven Point for her sister's wedding when she meets a sweet little boy in the supermarket on the verge of a meltdown. Bowie the little boy's brother and guardian do not have a complete understanding of his needs. Katrina helps Bowie avert the meltdown and hires Katrina to help him out in taking care of his little bother with special needs. Both of them work through their flaws and in the end it was a great representation of a differently blended family.

This specific video review will be included in the October 2018 wrap-up.

Serenity Harbor

Bowie Callahan kissed Katrina and was longing for much more. They were dancing, so Bowie danced with Katrina. That was the sense of his aftershave. That delectable aftershave that he put on. It was close to perfect. Her mom was dancing with uncle Mike. One brother a sheriff and another an FBI agent. She resided herself to live in Columbia with her daughter Gabriela. Milo said stop crying, that is very sad. Her heart ache was sadness. She was falling for Bowie Callahan. Bowie might have the power to attract Katrina. She reached between them and held Bowie’s hand. How would she survive the next few days? The pancake parade starts at 10 AM. The town celebration only comes around once a year. Bowie said, I better come with you, for Milo and Bowie. The haven point firefighters make great pancakes. Kat eyes were intense. So boy kissed cat again. She wanted to be tough with him and into her bedroom and make love to him. When she found herself in Columbia. Bowie, we have to stop. I don’t want to. The Husky voice he spoke put chills down Kat’s spine. Bowie kissed Kat again. Bowie never drank too much, but he had a very bad headache. Kat said, I cant you have to stop. I heard no ugliness, just a man with strength and survival. Boy said, he changed his mind, he didn’t want to go to the parade with Milo and Kat. I would think Parking would be an issue. She zipped up her backpack. So this is what community means? The parade through candy to him. Boy said, I’m glad I came. When and Kayde came back to the parade. So Kayde was working the crowd control. I hope you’re going to mom’s place for dinner. Charlene decided to bring every One over to the house to see the fireworks display. A honeymoon lasted longer than a week would not be enough time for Bowie. Maybe he would take her to Tahiti at a secluded beach. Or a ski lodge in the mountains where it would snow for weeks and then they would not they would be held up in the snow for a long time. Traditional happy ever after‘s would not apply to him. I hope you’re going to moms place for dinner. Katrina lowered her voice and invited over several unattached guys to her house. Mom loves you. It’s her way of loving you. She’s our mom, she still sees me as a stupid cat. I’m not broken anymore. You can be polite and interested. She scoped up she scooped up the blanket that Milo was sitting on. Boy said, if only that were true. But he said, The boat parade, let’s go. Milo stood on one side. Gabby would love playing on that swingset that uncle Mike belt. The gorgeous Jamie Cain. Are you afraid of these two little old women. Hazel and Eppy are amazing. What was wrong with Sam, she wanted to go over and wipe that hand away. When walked over and hugged her sister. Sam was really putting out the vibes. She encouraged Bowie to ask Sam out. Jamie is a great guy. She was in love with Bowie. And the difficult choice, she didn’t want to face. Bowie light Samantha. He liked it fine. Katrina had blue eyes and a mouth that tasted like strawberries and cream and heaven. He had been there a long time. Boy felt that same jolt in his chest again. He was in love with her. The truth just about knocked him over. Boy was kissing Katrina on the bench. Sam was there, she was her best friend and had been every since her stupid cat days. She was loyal and funny and have been honest with her. She had betrayed Sam. She should have told Sam that she was falling in love with with him. That her feelings were changing. She was falling in love with Bowie. She was in her pajamas and went to the kitchen to make breakfast for Milo. It was her last day with Milo and tell Debra peters arrived. She would be leaving Haven point in three days. Katrina went by the house. They room together in Boise. She let out a shaky breath. Sam said, wants to talk about. Obviously you saw a great looking guy and you went for it. Katrina winced. Why didn’t you tell me? Kat said, you’re my best friend and I love you. Samantha said, you’re in love with Bowie Callahan. Boy is a great guy. Kat you’re in love with Bowie. She was cold and numb. After that she could get in her car and sob. I’ve been reading through your notes and you are great. Good to hear. And she forced herself to look at Milo. Some terrible part of Kat wanted to hey Debra peters. And her imagination she looked like Katrina‘s nightmares with a hooknose, wart and her chin like the BT black eyes like the witch from Hantzel and Gretel. Instead the woman was round, soft with kind eyes, fashionably cut gray hair and a warm smile. She greeted Milo even before she greeted Bowie and cat. Which for ever endeared her to Katrina. She seem to have an understanding about the boys unique needs and stepped in immediately. Her emphasis was children with autism. After her husband died, she decided she wanted to see a little more of the world, and have the opportunity to focus at one child at a time. The child she cared for, she was perfect for the possession. Her phone rang, I need to take this will you excuse me? This is Katrina Bailey. Miss Bailey, a heavenly accented female voice said this is Consuelo Marino from the Columbia family welfare Institute. I’m sorry to tell you, we have a problem. So 15 minutes later she disconnected the car. Ball rows up burning her stomach and her throat. She couldn’t seem to suck in a deep breath and it was taking all her straight to curl up on the chase lounge and sub. How was it possible to be numb, ice cold and boiling hot all at the same time. Somehow, she managed it. She couldn’t give in, not yet. She had to survive the next few moments while she said her final goodbyes. Somehow she had to find the strength to go back inside Bowie‘s house and pretend everything was fine. That her world had not suddenly been devastated. After that she could climb into her car and completely fall apart. She force yourself to breathe deep and slow for 10 full counts through nausea remained she felt strong enough to walk in side the house. When she rejoin Milo, Deborah and Bowie in the kitchen, Bowie‘s posture instantly went tense. He aimed a swift look at Milo. Don’t worry about a thing, everything will be fine. She forced herself to look at Milo. She sat on the floor with Milo, buddy can you look at me? That was the best she was going to get today. Thank you for letting me hang out with you these last few weeks, i’ve had so much fun. I wish I could stay longer but I have to go. Milo said go! You are going to have so much fun with Debra. She knows just how to take care of you, so you can go to a special class at school. She had a beautiful thought that she was returning to her classroom with the windows that looked over the mountains and the built in board that she prepared so carefully in the neat cubbies in the smell of chalk and erasers. She had love being a teacher but walked away for most ridiculous reasons. Now she didn’t know if she would ever be able to return. I have to go now my love. She kissed the top of his head. What’s wrong, Something happened in your phone call. This was Payne, Rawle and Savage. I’m an idiot. Boys said knock it off. They said my position is being denied. What happened? Angel Herrera never file the necessary forms. Boy did enough around the world to know. Fortunately, Monnie wasn’t a problem for him. He saw a little glimmer of hope. Let me help you fix it. We can fix it together Kat. It concerns you, I want to help. Will it make any difference to tell you, I’m in love with you. He had never told a woman before that he loved her. We can fly down there and get this whole thing sorted out in a week or two. I know what you doing, and it won’t work. You have some sense of obligation because I helped you with Milo. You don’t. I didn’t ask. You’re attracted to me. Trust me, I know the difference. But I’m sorry Boeing I don’t feel the same way. I should have never let things go so far. I appreciate your offer. Thank you for everything. She deserves an Academy award telling Bowie that she did not love him. The rain began to click through the windows. I’m sorry Boeing, I don’t love you. Telling Bowie she didn’t love him, hurt. So she would be returning to Columbia. She was afraid, she was so afraid that she would not love Bowie. The phone rang. She pulled it out so it would not wake uncle Mike and her mother. Wait, what can I do? Was Milo out in it somewhere? They had to do everything possible to find Milo. Thank you for coming chief Kayde. Let’s go inside out of the rain and you can tell me what’s going on, Kat said. And Kat also came to. Less than 10 hours, we lost him. I’m going to assume you’ve checked the closets in the bedrooms. As I said, he has autism. He missed Katrina. Do you know anything about this? I walked out on the dock to clear my head. Will do our best. I’ll check out a few places we visited, the dog park and the park. Kat thank you so quickly. She couldn’t bear to lose Milo. Love was about trust and taking risk and taking the rain together. The moonlight purest the clouds. But begin the rain. You have to. You can’t hide away here. His PJs work hard and being held by a branch. There we are, we are free. She walked back and fell in the woods. She put her socks on his feet and her sweatshirt over his jacket. Katrina, thank you. For the first time she met him, she was glad he was small. Bowie, he was running for Al. There you are, you scared the hell out of me. Thank you. She kiss Katrina very hard. I’m supposed to give you a message from Eliza Kane. She is baking you three dozen of your favorite chocolate macadamia and cookies and also has a giant hug for you. I am most afraid to let Milo out of your site. Don’t beat yourself up Bowie. Boy stood closer and brushed her hands against cat. I’m going to help you adopt her and I don’t want to hear any arguments. Bowie, she began. He cut her off, it was his expression not to hear. I’ve been thinking about Gabby. Bowie, we will make it happen. When he was good and kind and sweet. But if she walked away from Bowie and Milo and Gabby. I will accept your help gratefully because, I love you. Boy Callahan was a man of honor and integrity. She stepped forward. I am so sorry I messed up. Silence. His mouth came into a beautiful smile. I love you Bowie. Then you and Milo walked into my heart. You know you know you are going to have to marry me, not tomorrow or next week. Life is an easy but that could be faced with time. He’s now married his wife of six months. I’ll take it to the table. Sweet little four-year-old Gabby, climbed up on the table. In a big COM golden retriever. Milo said I am so happy. We are better than OK. And the four-year-old climbed up on the rocker and they all rocked together. I absolutely loved the story. It was so touching and I’m so glad that Katrina and Bowie got married. I absolutely loved the story.

predictable, repetitive and unrealistic.

I couldn't believe that this book was so simple. The crying was overdone. The theme was built on a mystery in Columbia. I felt cheated at the ending. written like a fairy tale.
