About this listen

Are you born a killer, or are you shaped into one?

How does one escape from his cell to start a killing spree of 20-plus victims? How incredibly evil can one be to murder more than 24 children in less than two years?

These are questions we will dig deep into as we investigate eight serial killers and murderers in this addition to the Serial Killers Rage and Horror series.

Serial killers both intrigue and disgust the average member of society, and many question why this is. Is it because they seem such regular people in the daylight? Or perhaps it is simply because it is hard to fathom how someone can cross that ever-present line of what is right and what is most horribly wrong.

One of the most unusual cases in this audiobook surrounds the murders of several women in Canada by a totally unique method that may surprise you. Another, the story of Robert Hansen, will terrify you. And the cases of the Atlanta Child Murderer and the Ogre of the Ardennes will sicken you to the core. But once you start listening to this audiobook, it will be extremely hard for your curious mind to stop.

Good true crime stories

This is a good short book for the true crime lover. Not particularly graphic, mostly just the facts and that’s fine. The reader had a pleasant voice and I enjoyed listening to it.

I’m was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author in exchange for my unbiased review.

Serial Killers Rage and Horror

This book gives you a quick version of events from eight horrifying Serial Killers. You learn the names and places of people and events associated with these terrible crimes. Some of the names in this book you will recognize and others you may not but each and every one of them will bring a chill to you as you learn just what depravity they have brought to the world. Each chapter is devoted to a new crime spree. As horrendous as these deeds are people always seem to be interested in the gruesome facts and this book gives listeners just that. Narrator Kevin Kollins does a nice job of keeping the book at a nice flow. He speaks clearly and at a good pace that kept my attention all the way to the end.

I received this audiobook at my request and I voluntarily wrote a review.

Serial Killers

Serial Killers Rage and Horror, Volume 2
8 Shocking True Crime Stories of Serial Killers and Killing Sprees (Serial Killers Anthology)
By: Jack Rosewood, Rebecca Lo

This author is on his game as usual. He takes the listener into the dark side of sub-human nature. I remember some of these cases, especially the Atlanta Child Murders. I remember following the case as it was developing.

This is a must listen for devotees of true crime stories. I look forward to the next book to see who hits the spotlight next.

The narration was well done. Kevin Kollins voices this genre better than just about anyone.

A little text bookish

I love true crime and I love Jack Rosewood. I have read and listened to several of the Jack Rosewoods true crime books. He really breaks down each crime, Victim, and Murderer. This books is no different. In this book he delves into 8 Serial Killers from all over the world. He gives you the full run down on their spree, Some of their past history and the outcome. This books seems to at times be a little text bookish but it is still worth it. Kevin Kollins does a great job with the narration.

pretty horrific stuff

What serial killers do is pretty heinous and disgusting yet we can't help but be intrigued by them. This book seeks to answer the question of what makes them tick.

Be warned they get in to gruesome detail of each murder. But its necessary to understand what motivates them.

Compelling

Frightening and detailed stories of real killers. Kind of makes you weary of your quiet neighbors. Fascinating book.
