Publisher's summary
Shadow Soldiers is a series of novellas focused on exploring the world of the soldier, especially how their code of ethics is affected by the challenges of real evil in the world today. More morality plays than action-adventures, these episodic stories ask the audience to judge their role in the world's challenges. Uncovering each challenge to our society, Sarge finds the right mercenaries to fight the evil. Creating Warrior Cadre Management (WCM), he builds a diverse team of mercenaries, soldiers, and spies to take on the evil that festers in our world.
Our mercenaries come from all walks of life, and as you meet them, you may begin to understand their choice of service. They are the new cowboy, fighting against evil where it exists. So sit down and listen for a moment or two. Each novella brings you something to excite the warrior in you. You may choose to join them after a few adventures!
Armed Vigilance–Now back in the US, Mak is given the assignment of Armed Forces Vigilance. His job is to recruit and place patriots within the DOJ and JASOC to ensure another Shining Blade does not regain control. Ben retires, and John wanders back into the mountains. And while the Pentagon and the Capital settle down, Sarge is not sure they rooted out the evil that killed Megs.
Return of a Dark Angel–Megs' dark journey into revenge comes to a turning point, and she seeks out those who can make Carla whole. There is no doubt the JASOC officer must remain dead, but Carla has a family of mercenaries she can call home.
The Biker and the Chef–Choices are not always made for good reasons. Changes may come that alter what we expect from life. Finding out about the lie of my birth was the moment I chose to reimagine my life as a mercenary.
Ravages of Love–Life does not come with an instruction manual, and love, well… That is something that changes everything. A mercenary's heart looks for a place to rest, and love's calling fulfills so much more.
Planned–Revenge served cold is an enjoyable dessert. All my skills went into tracking down and serving my form of justice on the ones who killed my friends. But finding out I was being watched shocked me out of my solitary life.
Psychopath–Malady, curse, or gift—the world has diagnosed me as a Psychopath. Functioning but broken all the same, I still wonder if I found the world of mercenaries or if they found me. Meeting Tressa McKendry—now, that is a quandary I may never figure out.
Angel Power–A warrior against the abuse woman, calls WCM to help her with a human trafficking ring and finds much more, bringing together mercenaries around the world to fight this blight on humanity.

Story
The modern audience hasn't had a chance to truly appreciate the unknowing dread that readers would have felt when reading Bram Stoker's original 1897 manuscript. Most modern productions employ campiness or sound effects to try to bring back that gothic tension, but we've tried something different. By returning to Stoker's original storytelling structure - a series of letters and journal entries voiced by Jonathan Harker, Dr. Van Helsing, and other characters - with an all-star cast of narrators, we've sought to recapture its originally intended horror and power.

Story
Narrator Dan Stevens ( Downton Abbey) presents an uncanny performance of Mary Shelley's timeless gothic novel, an epic battle between man and monster at its greatest literary pitch. In trying to create life, the young student Victor Frankenstein unleashes forces beyond his control, setting into motion a long and tragic chain of events that brings Victor to the very brink of madness. How he tries to destroy his creation, as it destroys everything Victor loves, is a powerful story of love, friendship, scientific hubris, and horror.
