A full-cast audiobook version of Robert E. Howard's classic Conan story "Shadows in Zamboula", with strategic sound effects to enhance the storytelling. A narration worthy of the well-known barbarian hero.

Sporting a large cast with appropriate voices, numerous sound effects and even music at some points, this performance contrasts sharply with typical audio readings.

The obvious attention to detail and feel for the flow of the plot make this a pleasure to listen to repeatedly.

Finally a rousing high testosterone audiobook of a classic Conan saga. All of the audio versions I've listened to in the past the narration voice just did not fit. This version however, Conan sounds like a Conan should, and having a cast of voices and sound effects makes you think you're back in Robert E Howard's era listening to a radio drama show. I'm happy a true Conan Fan has taken up the challenge of making audio versions worthy of the stories! Bailey Webb 8/2/19
