Great story line

This was a great story line, however the narrator made it lose a lot of its appeal. I found myself cringing many times at his lack of emotion.

Two hot books in one

I loved loved loved this series!!

Aiden and Violet have a chance encounter while he is undercover and unable to help her. Her second chance is all they both need to survive the fall out.

Jordan’s story was so anticipated. We all have seen the hate this poor girl endures from an unforgiving town in the previous books. It is heart wrenching watching her fight for the life she wants. Once Gabriel gets his crap together it is an awesome story!

Emotional!

Both stories in this set were full of intrigue, romance and definitely plenty of emotional scenes. In the first story Violet was kidnapped and went through a traumatic experience throughout her time with her kidnappers. The storyline was intriguing and had some good twists, turns and surprises. In the second story Jordan had to contend with a town that blamed her for her father’s past actions and my heart just went out to her. She really did need a guardian angel! It too had an interesting storyline and some good romantic suspense. Tom Campbell does a good job with the narration and brings the stories to life. I did receive a free credit for this set, however I have voluntarily provided an unbiased review and my opinions are my own.

Hits the spot!

I have always loved the men and women of Linear Tactical, and have been waiting impatiently to get my hands on the audiobook versions of their stories.

And, wow! Shamrock and Angel are two of my favorite Linear men, and listening to Tom Campbell's narration just made it all the sweeter for me when I am sooo bored with being cooped up at home!

Thank you, Janie Crouch, much love for your books!

Shamrock Review:
I listened to this book on Audible first then I re-read the book via Kindle since a chapter of this book was missing from the Audible version. This book gave me all the feels and all the hot and steam, action, & suspense scenes I love and wanted. From the first page, I was sucked into this book and had to know how this story plays out. It pulled on my heart strings to learn about Violet being taken by Stellman. The things men will do for money and/or power just amazes and sickens me. I wanted to jump into the book and rescue Violet myself. I loved Violet’s character and how freaking smart she was. I caught myself laughing out loud with some of the things Violet said. Once again, the women of Oak Creek and the LT crew came through for Violet and was there for her when she needed a girl’s night and I loved that. Violet overcame everything she had gone through with Aiden by her side through most of it. I love the fact that Violet was able to overcome all the obstacles in her life and was able to live her life on her own terms. The material and moves Aiden and Gavin was teaching Violet at Linear Tactical makes me want to go find a place like that so I know how to defend myself. Being able to defend yourself should be something everyone especially women should learn how to do in event it is necessary. I hope this isn’t the last of Violet and Aiden and the terror triplets and I can’t wait to read the next book.

Angel Review:
This is probably my favorite book so far. I listened to the audible book first then I read this book on my Kindle. I truly believe everyone deserves a second chance and that’s exactly what Jordan and Gabe’s story is all about. I felt sorrow, happy, a little hot and bothered, anger, and many more emotions/feelings in this book. This book has action, romance, suspense, and the ex-military team we have grown to love with this series. My heart felt so bad for the cards that life had dealt Jordan. I am so glad that Violet befriends Jordan and gives her a job to help her get on her feet. I am so glad that the women of the Linear Tactical team never let her past affect their friendship and were there for her when she needed it. That is exactly what true friendships are all about- to love them no matter what. The love Gabe has for Jordan is so special and the way he wants to show Jordan her worth is heart warming. I loved the LA beach scene/date and it made my heart happy that he wanted to give her that experience and went over and beyond to make it happen. Just goes to show that there are wonderful men in the world that will do whatever they can to make the woman they love feel special, loved, and worthy of whatever they want or dream of. I absolutely loved how Oak Creek came together to help out with Jordan’s house. What a wonderful way for them to tell them they are sorry for the way they treated her and to show her that she is one of their own. I loved the exclusive extended scenes in the book especially the hot and steamy ones. The tampon scene between Gabe and Aiden was funny and I would have loved to be a fly on the wall to see that in person. The extended scenes also were helpful in learning how Jordan got into the accident with Becky and Micah McKay, which I always wondered about from book one, Cyclone. Can’t wait to read the other books in the series and hopefully read more about Gabe and Jordan. I wonder though, will Gabe’s friend, Ian, make it into a book or have one as his own since he’s going to buy CT?
