Publisher's summary

When a dream is taken to the edge of destruction, what will it take to rise again?

Abbigail Gibson has finally broken through Sebastian Shark’s staunch defenses, erected through years of having to fight for his multimillion-dollar success and the skyscraper that will be his legacy.

But as construction starts on the Edge, the foundations of Sebastian’s world are crumbling. Security has been breached, lives have been taken, and Bas has no choice but to hide Abbi to secure her safety. But at what price? As each day goes by, Abbi’s health drains away by frightening degrees. Has he kept her safe, only to sacrifice her vitality? Her light?

Separated, miserable, and on the trail of bizarre clues that lead to dead-end shadows, Sebastian and Abbigail can’t be sure of anything anymore...until destiny intervenes with a precious gift for them both.

They must now decide between living in fear, letting enemies shatter their trust and destroy their bond, or defy the odds and believe in their love - and see just how high they can rise.

Great Read

Shark’s Rise (Shark’s Edge #3) was another great read by Angel Payne and Victoria Blue. Abbigail has broken through Sebastian’s defenses. As construction starts on The Edge, Sebastian’s world is crumbling. Lives have been lost and Sebastian has no choice but to hide Abbi to keep her safe. As she’s away, her health is getting worse and worse. They must choose between living in fear or believing in their love. I enjoyed reading this book and can’t wait to read more by the author.

Really enjoyed but frustrated

So I unexpectedly fell for this series but I have to say, I got a little confused his there was constant threats causing Shark to hide Abbi away during the majority of the book... then as soon as she found out she was pregnant: that storyline all bug disappeared and the sole focus was the pregnancy. I know there is a 4th book in the series that sounds like it leads itself to two other main characters... but not used to a series suddenly ending with no resolution to who was causing the threats and suddenly changing focus to two other characters. Will definitely continue but not sure I enjoy the transition with so many unanswered questions re: the main characters.

Pretty good

Not what I expected. But turned out to be pretty good. I have to agree with the reviews that the authors were trying to copy 50 shades but failed miserably. No one can copy that first of all. This book was ok at best. Hadn't listened to the last book yet will sometime in the future I guess.

A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED!

I've read Books 1 and 2. I rated both of them with 5 Stars and if there were higher ratings, I would have given it to both of them. That is how I really liked the story and the narration of those books.

In Shark's Rise, I was under the impression that we will find out who is behind the plans to bring down Sebastian Shark and the reason or reasons for the dubious plan. Alas, that did not happen in this book. This book is more about Sebastian and Abbigail finally trying to put in their honest efforts to keep their relationship on even keel. I feel that unlike the first two books, there is more sex here than a story.

Although I am a little disappointed, I gave an overall rating of 4 Stars (it's great) mainly because of the performance of the two brilliant narrators, Erin Mallon and Jacob Morgan.

Wow! F*ckin Tarryn (unsure of spelling) I don't even feel bad for that bag of creepy 😒 Loved this ending to the hot craziness that is their relationship. Never let kids name your kids...

Sharks Rise

I loved this series and seriously thought the male leads voice was sexy and awesome. The female lead was good in her voice but I didn’t like her “male” voice at all. It was a turn off, but not enough of one to stop me from listening to all 3 books.

I found Sebastian to be a very complex man who in the end was able to finally find comfort, loyalty, and love for a young woman who matured and grew with her own demons to fight. I was proud of how her handled her young innocence even when he thought he would not be able to do so.

Love can conquer with patience, commitment, understanding, and devotion.

Love this series!

Shark’s Rise is book three in the Shark’s Edge series and you need to read the first two books in the series before diving into this one! Sebastian and Abbigail’s love story continues and so does the threat facing them both and just wait because there is also a surprise bundle coming that is going to rock their world. I am so excited to read the rest of this series.

Speechless

Speechless...

So. Many. Twists

So. Many. Feels.
My heart...

Not going to lie, I cried... a little... okay... More than a little.
Throughout these three books, I have come to absolutely love Sebastian and Abbi and it was bittersweet once I reached the end...

Shark's Rise is the incredible conclusion of Abbi and Sebastian as main characters.
But it is NOT the end of this crazy, crazy, crazy ride that these two authors have put me on... Oh no, it's just the beginning baby!
I'm not sure where to begin... This has and is my top read of 2019. This takes that award. Above every other book. This one is the one that comes to mind when someone asks me my top reads. above 470+ books. IT IS THIS ONE!

I went into this not entirely sure what to expect. I knew it would be written amazingly. I love the style the authors write with. It flows easily and it always has me falling into a plot that consumes me from the beginning. This is romantic suspense. This isn't their norm, yet they mastered this perfectly.

I was a mess after the ending of Shark's Pride, but after having a moment to sit back and think about it, Sebastian was just trying to do what he thought was the best for Abbi and her safety, and you can't fault someone for that. It proved that what he feels for Abbi is like nothing he has ever felt before and he was willing to risk it all to keep her safe.

Abbi is not impressed about how he went about it, but after spending time there and spending time with Sebastian's PI and friend Elijah, I think she gets more of an understanding of why Sebastian is the way he is.

Abbi and Bas were two characters I couldn't help but love. They were they are their Yin to each other, Yang. though needing each other and balancing each other, yet they were so different... But worked just perfectly. Even when Bas was being arrogant. I was drawn to him and his character. He grew in bounds in book three. His priorities began to change and in the end, had to change. He faces some major things in his life and he has to work out what's the most important person/thing to him. His job or his future with Abbi?

Throughout this plot we start getting answers to some burning questions, we also end up with more questions that need answering and I am sure they will be in the next three books to come.

I can't help but feel that the best is yet to come and that what's about to happen throughout this series and the following book to come is going to knock me square on my ass. I think the authors are just toying us now, baiting us and getting us ready for some major things that are about to go down and completely change the game.

To me, this was unique, extremely well written, grabbed my attention from book one and had me holding my breath all the way through till the end of book three, I was on the edge of my seat, my heart all over the place and my mind reeling. It was emotional in parts, yet it held so much suspense, drama, and mystery. At every turn, I was throw off course. Just when I thought I had figured one of the major details out, I was left sitting there second-guessing my own mind.

As I said, I went into this series not knowing what to expect. This isn't their normal sub-genre but it damn well should be. This was beyond incredible. The twists and turns, the unknown. That uneasy gut feeling you get when something is about to happen but you do not know what or who or when... Well, this held that feeling and it was addictive!

I could tell the authors heart and soul was poured into this. The passion, heat, suspense, love, and mystery drips from these pages. It was quite the experience to read. I have read and re-read these first three books over half a dozen times and like I have said in previous reviews. I always find something new to fall in love with.

Did I mention how hot and desirable Sebastian Shark is? Woah...

Sit down, hold on tight and get ready for the ride of your life.
This is just the beginning!

I can't rate this any less than 5 Stars and If I could rate it more. I would!

I can't wait to explore the rest of the characters and their stories!
