I enjoyed the love /hate relationship between Antonio and Karina. I loved watching them overcome their physical shortcomings to open themselves up to love. They were both interesting & flawed characters, which made them more authentic. The story itself moved well. The plot was solid, formatted and written well.

What I didn't love was the mention of Karina's lack of physical beauty on every page. It was overdone. At one point I wanted to scream, "Hey! I got it! She looks like the abominable snowman or an albino gorilla. Move on!" Lastly, the narrator, while he did a great job in the He Got Me Series, he did not bring this particular story to life. I will be honest and say that I kept losing track because his voice was so soothing and without emotion.

What saved this audiobook was the love between Karina and Antonio. We should all be so lucky to find the one who loves us, flaws and all.

this story is well written, it has ups and downs and plenty of good sex. this book can be made into a movie. this book to me is a bestseller. the characters are real, the story is real, and it is heart wrenching. two thumbs up.

She Got me: The Perfect Ending really has the perfect ending. It's binge-worthy for 5 hours straight. Antonio Blake and Karina made a pefect but imperfect couple. I love the steamy relationship they have. Great listen!

I enjoyed this audiobook. There are very few audiobooks of any genre that are specifically revolving around black people. Although I am not black myself, I fully enjoyed this book. The story had a great move along then slow down followed by move along tempo. I recommend this audiobook. What an emotionally charged story line with imperfect characters! The story is realistic. Well-written. It was a rocky relationship, but once they both conquer their devils, they do have their HEA.

Liked the premise of the story. Two black folk in entertainment, one being an actor with a physical disability(his disability was that he had an arm amputee). The appeared to be somewhat rivals/enemies to lovers from the beginning and I liked how it progressed from that. It was steamy as the sexy times came, but there was just two issues I had that made it not a five.

While the disability rep is not seen as much in AA romance, I liked he was disabled, but he seemed like he wasn't written like he was more than his disability at times. I didn't expect him to be always happy all the time, but so much of him was trying to prove he was capable or that that's all audiences cared about when it came to his career, that he seemed like he was his disability instead of a sexy human being who just happened to also be disabled.

Also Karina wasn't a typical heroine. Most times she was described as hideous. I'm not sure I connected to it because I'm not comfortable seeing a Black woman being described that way. A plain Jane I would've stomached, because it's okay to be average, but I just didn't connect to it, because I prefer romances where even if the heroine isn't drop dead gorgeous, the hero sees her that way.

Romance is supposed to be escapism and if the world already naturally reviews black women on the bottom, I'm looking for fiction to fix or validate black women. Overall I still enjoyed and look forward to follow ups. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

I absolutely loved it! The narration was great.. It will really keep you entertained. The author did an excellent job with the character builds and plot. This was my first book by this author but definitely will not be my last. I really look forward to reading more books from this author. The book held my attention from start to finish. The characters are relatable and engaging. There's the physical and emotional pain as they fall in love with one another. Filled with lots of sexy innuendos. I love getting lost in these types of books. I was so disappointed when it ended. I just wanted to keep listening.
