When Clementine decided that her line of work, killing people for SI8 a government backed department introduced after 7/11 she knew it was not a thing that would happen without her being dead. She arranged with three drag artists to do the work for her, that way she was still working. They were very good at dressing up and when one walked out looking just like her, and Clementine was a very pretty woman, she was astonished. That is what gave he the idea. John Fairchild was the investigator for SI8 and he was very good. When one triplet was killed and returned to England in the diplomatic pouch, the woman in charge of the postmortem and finding out what happened got the shock of her life. The dead Clementine had things Clementine did not! Alexander Winfield the shepherd in charge of Clementine ordered John to look into it. Winfield bugged everyone even John's office but John still had a way to do things without Winfield knowing. He wanted to make sure Clementine was alive and well. He had slept with her a few times and knew just how she worked. If she was alive, John hoped to keep it that way, although he knew that Winfield would order her dead at the drop of a hat despite sleeping with her as well. It was her way of improving her position in the company. Thus John had to find Clementine and talk with her without Winfield being a party to it, even though Winfield's men followed him everywhere. John's secretary Lorna was a great help and they used her aunt's house to work from when they did not want Winfield to know about it. What he found out put everyone in danger but he was averse to killing Winfield if he needed to. Genre Fiction Political
