Story
Lana Fleming’s sister has vanished from the set of TV’s hottest show, and no one seems to care. Desperate for answers, Lana sneaks in as an extra, only to get stranded with Griffin Hart, an A-list action star with a reputation for good abs and bad decisions. Though Griffin didn’t expect to be cast as a librarian’s sidekick in a real-life thriller, he’s weirdly into it—and into her. Even more unsettling—she sees right through his playboy persona. But their meet-cute soon turns deadly when they uncover a Hollywood scandal for the ages.

Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Artists are singularly passionate people. Some are so intense, they commit suicide. Some commit murder. A popular French artist living in London has an appointment to see Sherlock Holmes. He fails to appear. Why? Because he is dead. Suicide? Or murder? Holmes is asked to investigate. He quickly learns that nothing in the world of art is what is seems. Two thousand years ago, Aristotle said that all art was mimesis, a representation of reality. It seems that artists themselves, and their wives, are also not what they appear to be. This new mystery takes Holmes and Watson into the world of ...

ARTIFICIAL VOICE NEEDS IMPROVEMENT
The narration is terrible. Using a black AI voice for 19th century England is just stupid. The mispronunciation s are jarring too. Someone actually listen AND CORRECT especially words like read that have different meanings based on pronunciation. The writing itself improves as the author continues to write but he needs to remember there are few Holmes novellas. Most of his stories could do with some condensing.
