About this listen

Essence best-selling author La Jill Hunt has crafted another tasty, drama-filled tale.

Paige Michaels seems to have the perfect family. But she's beginning to feel like her man is just using her - and he might have another woman. Maybe it's time to finally let go. If Paige hadn't played house back in college and gotten pregnant, she could have done better for herself. But that's the past - what's she gonna do now?

Probably better to read

Good book probably better to read because the narrator constant swallowing is disgusting. It's easier for me to listen to at work because it's noisy and I don't hear it but when I'm on break I can't listen to it.

I love this story...

The book was great and I think that may have been one of the best narrators I've heard so far...
made the story that much more enjoyable!!

Just "OK"

Can't say it was exactly a 'page turner' but a decent story. I'm generally a fan of this author, but the narrator wasn't that great.

Good storyline

This was a good story about the ups and downs of a relationship. The dynamics of family. The only thing I didn’t like was the ending. I felt like it left you hanging. It felt incomplete

Pretty good read

I enjoyed the book. Drama and more drama. His mother got my nerves and made me want to leap through the pages. The book could’ve been just a little longer so I could finally see her get what she deserved though.

Great One!!!

This is a great read! I almost thought Paige wouldn't get it together. That dam baby daddy of Paige just made me sick, and that Celeste need her ass kicked and head examined! I'm rooting for Paige and Quincy.

Enjoyed!

Really enjoyed this book- this is my second time previously read the actual book. I know that there is a sequel to this book, but I can't find.

Take Me to the Edge and Drop Me

This book was awesome. The story was believable. I could almost imagine myself in the story wirh them. The performer was phenomenal.
I need Paiges happily ever after story to be written so Marlon, Kasey and the crazy drunken mama can see just how karma works.
I think a story where Paige and Q eventually get married. Paige and Rachel become great friends.
They join a great church where they grow their faith and family.....Glass Slipper sequel.
That's where this book took me, especially on Audible.
This was my first read from this author.
