About this listen

This is the media guide for the 2025 Shreveport Rouxgaroux indoor football team, based in Shreveport, Louisiana.

The Shreveport Rouxgaroux will play their home games at George’s Pond at Hirsch Memorial Coliseum under the coaching of Jermaine Hampton. The ‘Roux are an expansion team of the National Arena League (NAL).

The Hirsch Memorial Coliseum, which opened in 1954 and was renovated in 2016, has previously been home to the Shreveport Mudbugs hockey team of the WPHL (1997-2000), Shreveport-Bossier Mavericks basketball team of the ABA (2013-2015), and currently the NAHL Shreveport Mudbugs hockey team (2016-present).

The Bossier-Shreveport Battle Wings played in the arena football2 league (af2) in 2001-2010, but at the CenturyTel Center in Bossier City. Prior to the Battle Wings era, Shreveport boasted the Shreveport-Bossier Bombers franchise that briefly played in the Indoor Professional Football League (IPFL) in 2000 at Hirsch Coliseum.
