About this listen

Children’s audiobook about hidden talents, overcoming shyness, overcoming fears, overcoming bullies, friendship, magic - bedtime story, ages 3-7

"Are you good at doing something special?

Maybe you have a singing or drawing talent.Or perhaps you're an excellent dancer?

Having a unique talent is amazing, and is one thing that makes you, you.

But have you ever felt scared to show other people your talent, or have been afraid that you might make a mistake?

Let me tell you a story about Sophia the Mouse."

Little Sophia is forever being teased by the other mice at school because of her ears. She hides them under a big hat and cries every night at home. The only things that make her feel better are her best friend, Bella, and singing, which is her passion. When her school hosts a talent show, Bella encourages Sophia to enter, but Sophia is far too shy to show the world her hidden talent. Will a magic wish give her the confidence to overcome her shyness and show her classmates that there is more to her than her appearance?

Shy Sophia is a delightful story of how, with a little confidence, we can demonstrate our individual skills and gain respect even from people who used to tease or bully us, teaching children that we each have unique gifts and talents and that we shouldn't judge others by their appearances. Children will love this audiobook as they follow the charming characters on their journey of self-discovery and learn the power of a magic wish.

it was okay

my daughter who suffers from shyness and anxiety wasnt enthused... its only 7mins long and she asked me at 4mins cam she change the phone to her learning game.. wasnt anything more than classic she was shy and did her fear then realized she was more brave than thought. wasnt unique or that great of a story content for helping address the topic for kids. didnt feel applicable for my daughter to use for herself. plus the reader was strange man voice to be narrating a squeaky little girl mouse voice it startled my daughter to think ot was being silly rather than really hear what was being said.
