About this listen
Yet, I often have told the folks in churches I have now pastored, “If you I had the ability to walk in my body and see my life for just one day, I would not let you do it, absolutely not, no way, period!
This old pastor carries baggage of fleshly sins with him most would not believe. But he does, and yet, he can say, and I do say, “Thank God, Jesus has given me the victory!”
“Why?” My shame is just like yours. The filth of what we carry is horrendous and deplorable, but our Savior died and bled for each and every sin. What glory there is in the cross of Christ! This then is my hope and yours. For Christ having finish what he did, he now sits on high as our High Priest making intercession daily before God on our behalf.
“Father, I died for that,” Jesus says. And then to me he says, “It’s okay my child, no problem, that is why I came. I love you and it’s okay, really. Go now and share this with others.”
And is this not the hope and calling for all believers. “We have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous, whose blood cleansed, and continually cleanses us from all sin: past, present, and future.
In fact, this took place before we were even born or committed the first sin. He took in then and that still remains pertinent today, right now.
It took place two thousand years ago on the cross. And when we really get down to it, it took place in eternity past. Now, go and think about that for a moment. Thus, herein is freedom.
Let us then look and live. Let us look to Jesus now and live. Let us, by faith, look to our hope seated in the heavenlies, and for which we are also seated with Christ there. And then to think that one day all this will come to fruition, and even now is beckoning us home. Friends, I won’t be long. It won’t be long, we’ll be home!
Signal is about hearing this hope that prepares and calls us heavenward. and living in its reality. Hope is calling us home. I desire, this book will be as a much a joy to you as it has been to me in writing it.
Go with God now my brothers and sisters, setting your hearts, minds and affections on things above. For it is here, where Christ is seated at the right hand of the Father making intercession for us as he awaits us. To Him be all the glory, God-speed, we’re going home!
