About this listen

For the first time ever, a survivor tells the shocking inside story of her time trapped in Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell’s alleged sex trafficking ring.

Sarah Ransome moved to New York at the age of 22 with hopes for a better life, an education, and a career in fashion. Her dreams were destroyed almost overnight when she met Jeffrey Epstein and was invited to an island paradise disguising her personal hell.

“By sharing my testimony…I hope to see both minds and laws changed. More than anything, I want to encourage a culture in which women, even if they haven’t led the perfect lives, even if they’re not proud of every one of their choices, still feel the right to stand in their truth.”

This story is her day in court.

Thank you Sarah for bearing your soul in order for us to understand the journey with these predators was violent and degrading. There is nothing glamorous about being with billionaires on a private island when it includes absolutely no respect or humanity.
Let’s hope that the black book will one day open and implicate all of the perverts who took part in these violations.

Well Written and Performed

Soul-baring in its honesty, and hard to listen to at times. Parents have such an important role to play on the trajectory of their kids’ lives. This is a multi-generational tragedy with a redemptive end. But how many people were bystanders or complicit in allowing this train wreck to unfold? As a society, we must be better at looking out for each other. God bless the survivors.

Shocking

This stunning tale is very well written and narrated. It makes real to the reader the experiences of the victims behind the headlines.

Brilliant. Tragic. Shocking.

Inspired to write my first audible review because of how impressed I was with this memoir. The writing and narration (reader) were both engaging. Remembered the author from an Epstein documentary. Picked up the audio book because of a sale, couldn't put it down. Sarah Ransome, thank you for sharing your evolution with your beautiful narrative voice. I hope your brave act brings light and joy to your every future moment.

Insightful, Intelligent, Beautiful Prose.

I like the way it was written and read and am so happy they found Ghislaine Maxwell guilty.

Well written

Sad story but very well written. It provides a lot of education on trauma, sex trafficking and the courage to survive in a very interesting autobiography. Great information for anyone but especially for survivors and therapists.

Excellent audiobook!

I found narrator hard to understand and it helped to slow the speed a little.

Worth a listen

Sarah is a force of power that gives us an understanding of how once past, often generation after generation can lead to a path that crushes once dreams and one self instead of blossoming into ones true potential. Every man and woman should read this book. To better understand and learn to not judge. Beautifully read by Henrietta. I believe you Sarah.

Heartbreaking and powerful!

it saddens me that even today in 2022 the innocent have to fight so hard to prove what happened to them is true. There's so much evidence but yet we overlook it. It makes me sick that our government, all governments are so corrupt. These women are warriors! God bless them. She did an outstanding job readings book. I couldn't put it down. Her story was amazing and so raw and real. It was a great book.

These Women were true warriors. God Bless Them.
