Publisher's summary

Pecca Gallegos moved to the tiny town of Walton, Georgia, to protect her son and escape the dangerous lifestyle that once defined her. When a series of strange circumstances evolve into threats, Pecca finds herself confiding in an unlikely ally - her stubborn patient.

Army veteran Colton Crawford is desperate to recover from the undiagnosed disorder that is ruining his life, and his instincts are on high alert when threats against his nurse and her son force him to take action. But Colton's involvement only ramps up the danger when he uncovers a family secret revealing that whoever is after Pecca is closer - and more deadly - than they realized.

With this suspenseful new story, Natalie Walters welcomes you once more to Walton, Georgia, where everyone knows your name - but no one knows your secret.

Great book

I love Walters’ characters. The Vets were so much fun. Loved the sensitivity about the struggles of disabled people, children and adults. Her characters are alive.

I am going to re-listen to the short story about Claudia next. I keep listening to books out of order. She needs a website to keep track of her stories and characters in order. When did KaKoa first appear? I just listened to his story. This book takes place before that. It’s been fun but I need a timeline! I love the humor in Watters writing. The narrator does a fantastic job. I have missed laughing. Thanks for a great listen.

Fantastic conclusion to the series!

I absolutely loved this conclusion! Every character that Natalie writes is well developed and extremely relatable. The stories are very well-thought-out and we'll have you on the edge of your seat from the beginning to the end. My favorite thing about Natalie's books is that I'm always finishing the book with a smile and a full heart!

First time

First time to read Natalie Walters. Loved the clean mystery and having a the veterans in the story. Seeing the strength in both main characters is a blessing. They are flawed and vulnerable, but God has a plan. When they seek him they find it. Definitely will read her again.

Best one!

This book was probably my favorite one out of the series!! The suspense. The love story. Ending the book with a wrap of all the characters from the other two books. The way the author brought God back to good books! Such a good story! Twists and turns and each chapter!
