Publisher's summary

On the heels of a brutal attack, Emma Southerly finds herself swept away to Palm Springs, but she can't run from trouble, especially when it has a habit of chasing her down. A mysterious stranger is posting incriminating photos of the less than upstanding citizens of Belle Mère, but is it a friendly game or something more sinister?

When Jameson West breaks his bail and tracks her down, he delivers more bad news. Emma's landed on the suspect list. No one knows who killed Nathaniel West, but now there are two suspects, two investigations, and two people with every reason to turn on one another. Someone in Belle Mère is a murderer - someone closer to both of them than they could ever imagine - and unless they stick together, they might find themselves falling into a trap instead of falling in love.

Because when the cards are dealt, everyone might lose.

Great continuation

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

The entire trilogy needs to be read together. It is a great read that does make you wonder what will happen next and has you pulling for Jameson!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Jameson...he just seems so cool. I do wish we understood more about why Everyone thought he did it other than him being the one at the scene. It seems his backstory was glossed over just a bit.

What does Marisa Vitali bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Life! Just the infliction of feeling and hearing the differentiation in characters is great.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

The book yes. the trilogy is rather long so one sitting would be tough. I will tell you that I also purchased the ebooks so that I could read when it was other inappropriate to listen! so I wanted to find out what happened. THe characters do seem to act their age.

It has me intrigued!

I'm intrigued by who's the killer, who's the dealer and what's up with the best friend. I'm loving how much Jamieson is protective Emma. He's the best part of this story. It's a good read so far.

Sin Never Sleeps

If you’ve listened to books by Geneva Lee before, how does this one compare?

Very entertaining.

Do you think Sin Never Sleeps needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

Of course!!

Any additional comments?

Sin Never Sleeps no matter where you are…

"On the heels of a brutal attack, Emma Southerly finds herself swept away to Palm Springs, but she can't run from trouble, especially when it has a habit of chasing her down. Emma may be in Palm Springs but danger is lurking at her new home.

The second book in the Gilt series is fast paced and compelling. You will not be able to put it down until the last page.

Emma and Jameson learn some disturbing truths about their family and friends.

Will the truth tear them apart or unite them against a murderer?

I love Emma and Jameson.

Jameson has only one purpose and that is to protect Emma. He uses every resource in his disposal to ensure she is safe. And yes, he uses his money and connections, he bossy and overbearing at times, but Emma stands up to him.

In 'Sin Never Sleeps' the mystery continues and the tension grows: who is following Emma? Who is The Dealer? Is he trying to help uncover the truth? Or will he lead Emma to more danger?

I loved everything about Book #2 in the Gilt series. If you love strong heroines, good storyline, a plot that seems predictable, but is anything but, read 'Sin Never Sleeps'.
I cant wail till October to see what the future holds for Emma and Jameson.
