Publisher's summary

The new novel in the beloved New York Times best-selling Curtis Black series.

After her very public divorce from Dillon, Raven Black is recovering nicely. Dillon has done everything he can to discredit her, but Raven has learned from her mistakes and him. In fact she's intent on using every bit of Dillon's revenge and betrayal as she prepares to take what is hers - and more. Her ambitions have never been so great, and Raven always knows how to get what she wants. She also won't allow anything or anyone to get in her way.

She has become her ex-husband in more ways than one and is slowly leading those connected to her down a terrible path of destruction. But playing with the lives of innocent people has dire consequences - the kind that Raven won't see coming. Raven, of all people, should know that what happens in the dark will eventually come to light...and that there's only so far you can run before your past catches up to you.

"Roby's latest sizzles with scandal. A deliciously decadent beach read of temptation and the wages of sin." ( Kirkus Reviews)
"Satisfying and sinful...well-written, fast-paced." ( RT Book Reviews)

Great Continuation of Curtis Black Series

I liked it because it was a part of the series but it wasn't the strongest. The wording gets very repetitive at times because of the position of the narrative.

Another Awesome Book

I LOVE the Curtis Black Series!!! Just when I think a character can't get crazier Ms. LAWSON does it again. I especially loved the evolution of Porsha's character in this latest book. I think these books are the making of a nasty little mini series.
I'm a big fan...Kimberley Ebron

Okay!!

Out of all the series this is my least favorite… the story dragged and I couldn’t stay entertained… I do like that Raven, Dillion and Porsha characters were developed and their storyline continued from the last book…

A fantastic read with wonderful narration!

I've now listened to this book twice and I am again SO NOT disappointed. It's an exciting read and is a prime example of how to do Christian romance the right way.
fantastic performance by the narrator as well!

this book really spoke to me

I have really enjoyed this series and this book spoke to some things that I have noticed in some organizations. Although this is fiction, some of the symbolisms are spot on.

Corruption In Religion

Meh-

I may have been a bit biase, but overall it was an good read. I knew it would not end well before I got to the end.

It definitely happens in this day and age though.

The use of religious avenues to gain fortune, fornication and deceit.
