Too much talking
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
The author spends 90% of the time redundantly talking about his past experiences and a short amount of time actually taking you through exercises. The exercises are actually very good, but not worth the filler that you have to sit through.

Not that great
Helpful warmups and a couple exercises but honestly the author, narrator should be a hypnotist. He makes me want to go to sleep with all his slow, quiet, poetic and flowery talk.
Not as helpful a book as I was hoping.

need visuals all-around to communicate effectively
Nice voice to listen to, gave examples of.technique using sound of his own voice but only provided one image to existing his technique, which was a bit hard to remember a ski jumper on my lip..

Not very helpful
This is more of a motivational speech than a vocal lesson. There are maybe 3 or 4 vocal exercises in the first 1/4 of this, then the rest is just some really poor quality piano playing songs for you to sing too... but if you don’t know the songs (which you almost definitely won’t) then you won’t be able to sing along. Don’t waste your time or credit on this if you are looking for a robust vocal instructional program.
