About this listen

Being a dad isn’t easy. And life moves fast as dads juggle their responsibilities at work and home on a daily basis. As a result, a lot of dads end up letting mom lead the family—causing every relationship in the family to suffer.

In this audio, Parenting by Design founders Chris Groff and Lee Long give busy dads the basic principles they need to improve their parenting skills. Helpful, practical, and instantly applicable, Six Parenting Essentials for the Busy Dad removes the clutter to help dads fully engage with their family—and helps them become the calm, strong, and empathetic fathers God designed them to be.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

I think this product was mis-advertised. I was looking for practical tips because, well, I'm a busy dad. Instead I this product seems to try and make me a better dad by "inspiring" me through anecdotes and conversations. Too heavy on the religious overtones. It should say what it is upfront. I don't think this could be a 4 or 5 star book, it simply wasn't what I was looking for despite it's title.

Beware: parenting from a biblical perspective
