The entirety of the book can be summed up too easily. It feels worse than a pamphlet. With less of the flair. The narration for the audio book is passable. It actually comes off as decent in spite of the lack of storytelling, plot, or any character development.
The particular detail that I found to be the light of the story was the dynamic with which the parents had with their children. It was simple, yet, this was positive and the deepest part of the story, in my opinion.
A too simple-minded book that dumbs down faith to less meaning than a flash card. 2 out of 5. If you are interested in teaching your little one about faith, I don't believe this is the way to do so.
What I would want from an early age is that faith introduction is something that can be understood at a young age, yet appreciated as the child ages. Hopefully, in a way that one could read and see more details as a child develops. This book, however, leaves nothing to be gained from a second reading.
I suggest Chicken Soup Especially the ones directly for children. I pray you find what you are looking for.
