About this listen
A blizzard of historic proportions.
A group of friends at odds.
A cold case suddenly heating up amidst the chill.
Tablerock, Texas is not a town accustomed to blizzards. But as a once-in-a-lifetime freeze buries the town under piles of snow and ice, life grinds to a frosty halt. For Ellie and Evie Rockwell it means being snowed in at the Silver Circle Cat Rescue with their circle of friends—all of whom are feeling the chill in more ways than one.
In an attempt to defrost the increasing tension among the group, they share stories of their past—including the unsolved murder of a local woman that has left a frosty shadow over Tablerock for years. The only witness to the murder was Fluff, the woman's kitten—who just so happens to be an elderly cat resident at the rescue.
In the midst of a blizzard and fraying friendships, Ellie, Evie, and their locked-in companions are plunged into their most chilling mystery yet. Can they solve the case before they're left out in the cold, or will the icy grip of the past freeze them out for good?
Find out in “Snowballs, Fluff, and Murder,” the fifth book in the Silver Circle Cat Rescue Mysteries series.

Winner on all fronts!!
Another great story in this series! I loved seeing these characters again. Watching them do their thing while the fur flies. Since they are snowbound (in Texas no less) we learn a bit of history about each one until a memory is brought forth starting the mystery. This is such a fun series. I always enjoy my time listening to these. I smile, chuckle and am always stumped at the outcome.
Meghan Kelly does an amazing job narrating this series. I picked this up and know who is talking because she uses the exact same voices in every book! Her vocals are so Impressive!
Overall this book is a WINNER on all fronts!

THIS IS SO GOOD.
THIS IS SO GOOD, whether you are an animal lover, mystery lover or are a sucker for stories of the heart, this book is for you. I think this is my favorite so far but really each story in this series stands as interesting and well written on their own. Really you need to get this book! Totally Recommended!
Meghan Kelly does a great job with the voices of all, including the cats and dogs. I wonder if we will ever get a bird character join the series?

Escaping the past
This was the perfect set up for sleuthing a cold case. They're snowbound and trapped together, so why not solve a cold case??? It was intriguing watching several characters weeding through the past for clues. The magic talking plate is one of my favorites. I enjoyed seeing the cats voice possible clues. I found this suspenseful and entertaining. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest opinion. The narrator did a great job bringing the characters and story to life.

welcome to the most unique cat shelter in Texas
welcome to the most unique cap shelter in Texas. the silver circle cat shelter. in this wonder fifth volume of the series we get a blizzard some frayed tempers and a cold case to look into. it's a definite winner. wonderful narration with consistent distinct voices can't miss hit
At this point I'm not sure why anyone still lives in table rock with the murders, a bad cop, and lots of political shenanigans. it's an amazing town to read about but would not want to live there.

Poignant and entertaining mystery
Snowballs, Fluff, and Murder: A Cozy Magic Midlife Mystery is Book 5 in the Silver Circle Cat Rescue Mysteries series by Leanne Leeds. A rare snow and ice storm strands Ellie and Evie Rockwell and their friends in the Silver Circle Cat Rescue. Rather than play games or watch movies to pass the time, the friends share personal stories. Det. Mario Lopez recalls the story of his high school friend who vanished without a trace, and that he was warned off the case. The friends begin researching the facts of this decades old cold case. The investigation takes twists and turns as well as an emotional toll on the group. I did figure out part of it by the end, but I was so happy for the epilogue to learn the rest of the story. This book is one of the best in the series with the snowed in friends sharing so much of their back stories. The narration by Meghan Kelly is a wonderful addition to the story. She creates unique voices for all the characters and her performance creates the perfect atmosphere for this story. I’m looking forward to more in the series. I received a free audiobook code for my honest review.

A Fabulous Cozy Mystery
I loved this new installment of this wonderful series our favorite cat rescue is snowned in when a horrible blizzard hits Tablerock TX. They holed up in one room in the mansion and started to tell old stories and Mario broght up an old cold case so the gang desides to look into it but it's not as easy as it sounds. Meghan Kelly is always a fabulous narrator. I highly recommend.

Snowed In
I have to say that I love this series, I found myself hooked once I listened to the first book, Crystals, Belladonna, and Murder which also happens to be my first book by this author, and I knew I would listen to more. I love revisiting the Silver Circle Cat Rescue every chance I get. I think the combination of characters who are all so different but who all fit together beautifully really adds to the richness of the stories.
This time the Mystery Solving Team at the Cat Shelter find themselves snowed in, an unusual occurrence in Tablerock, but not used to sitting idle the team decide to tell each other some stories to pass the time. If you have listened to the earlier books you will know all the characters, but if you haven't don't worry Ms Leeds' writing style is such that it won't spoil your enjoyment. But be warned once you've met Ellie, Evie, Landon, Mario and the cats at the Cat Shelter you will want to go back and listen to them all.
When Mario tells the group about a long-ago murder of a friend of his the team decides to try and solve the case. As the team looked into this cold case what they were able to discover with only an old computer is truly amazing. I loved the story but don't want to give too much away. I will say though that they did get some help from a surprising source!
This is an entertaining story made even better by the wonderful narration of Meghan Kelly who brings everybody to life beautifully. I love how everyone contributed to the investigation, I was hooked and didn't want to stop listening until the mystery had been solved.
Leanne Leeds' writing and Meghan Kelly's narration make this series one I wholeheartedly enjoy and recommend.

Great Mystery Solving Team in the Cat Shelter!
Love this Mystery solving Team at the Cat Shelter in Tablerock, TX! The usual group of people were snowed in with Ellie, Evie, Landon and the cats at the Cat Shelter while the snow comes down outside. The decide to pass the time by telling some stories and Mario brings up an old cold case about an old friend of his who was murdered a long time ago. At first I thought this would be a boring story since they were stuck inside and only bringing up things on the computer, but it would up being a great story and it really kept my attention. Everybody had a part during the investigation as usual and you need to pay attention of follow this story so you don’t miss anything. Another great Cat Shelter Mystery with great narration! Meghan Kelly does an amazing job with the narration and you will think you were listening to multiple narrators since she does a great job with all the different voices that she has for the many characters. She makes the story very enjoyable to listen to and want to continue with the series knowing that you can always follow along with your favorite characters.
