Imperative for Teens with Social Anxiety

Being a social worker, I know that having social anxiety can break a kid. This book has what your child needs. The author is great at speaking to the reader and providing achievable tasks and ways to achieve them. I think the scripted conversation examples are key. Some kids do not know where to begin. When your kid has social anxiety, they can suffer from anxiety, depression, or low self-esteem. This book helps them learn that it is not them; it's their skills, and they can come out of this. Must have!

An easy listen for kids of all ages...

I have a 12 year old, 9 year old, and an 8 year old. We threw this on in the car during a couple extended car rides and it sparked follow-up questions from all three kiddos. It was interesting to see which parts of this audiobook stuck out to each of my children and I'd say it helped me learn just a little bit more about what's on their minds each day. There is definitely something useful in here regardless of your child's age. Provided they're in school and speaking to you, I'm sure you'll have at least one conversation about a given topic discussed here. We would absolutely recommend this audiobook to our friends & family.
