The second chapter is mediocre. It covers just about everything I learned in one quarter of High School Spanish — which is the equivalent of one chapter of a college textbook; weather, numbers, greetings, colors, etc. It’s set up with lazy sentences, like saying “Where is…” or “I need….” or “That is…” to demonstrate each word. Most YouTube lessons cover this. Many phrases in the banking chapter were repeated as well, as if they were scrambling to fill in time without trying too hard.
I find the program valuable for the banking terminology and I think it was worth trying out. The first chapter makes a long commute a learning opportunity. I would have liked the program better if they made the second chapter more useful for banking conversation and small talk. Three stars for moderate effort.
