About this listen

This little book can have a big impact. May it open your heart. May it inspire you to connect more deeply with those you love. May you discover the ways that this is not just a story about me but about you, too.

At the end of the book, I will share how you can learn to tell your story with a simple framework that has helped thousands of people. I believe we can all find ourselves in the stories of others and hope you will be inspired to share your own.

Authenticity and heart!

This is the story of the author’s life and the impact of key relationships with family and friends. But more importantly, it is a brave look in the mirror at the relationship she has had with herself. By letting us in, Katherine shows us how we impact others and how we too can face our own dark moments and be better for it— and that in sharing our story we can be better understood.

It is a suspenseful and fascinating. And by looking in on someone else’s life we gain new perspectives about our own decisions and priorities.

The end of the book is dedicated to how the reader can share their own story, a method that as she describes, Katherine has devoted her career to. I recommend this book to anyone interested in developing more authentic relationships with others and themselves.

her story/ your story

Katherine shares her story from the heart in a way that inspires me to want to write my own story and encourage my young adult kids to do the same. She writes so beautifully that I felt like I was a fly on the wall watching her life unfold through the challenges, the realizations, the relationships, the beautiful moments and discoveries that make her her. Hearing her tell the story herself in the audible form was really special. I could the sadness, joy and laughter in her voice adding to the authenticity. This really made me think so much about who I am because of my story. Thank you Katherine for opening your life up to with us and helping me to reflect on my own.
