About this listen
They think she's a superhero. She thinks they're delusional.
I thought I knew who I was; translator for the President of the United States, adopted daughter of a dryad, and a supernatural with the ability to manipulate reality through colors. Then I met an angel—an Arc warrior of the Triari Host—and everything began to change. Women are disappearing, strange Supes are running rampant in D.C., a sexy Demon prince is stalking me, and it seems as if everyone is after my blood. I don't know who I am anymore, but I know who I'm not; I'm not a damn superhero. No matter what anyone says.

Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Story
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

The tongue is mightier than the sword. The magic of Danu has become unstable. As a realm built on magic, instability could have disastrous consequences so all of Danu is anxious to find the source of the trouble. When Amara and Everan investigate the problem, they find a far more serious matter, one that weakens Amara at the worst possible time. My life changed the day I tried to take his. Mhavenna is a glorious city but, like every city on the face of Serai, it's run by Dragons. As a human, I'm on the lowest rung of the racial ladder here, as far from an illustrious Dragon as I could be, and I've made me peace with that. I don't like Dragons much, but like or dislike has nothing to do with my work. So when my broker offered me the task of killing the Dragon King, I took it. It was the sort of kill that could make an assassin's career, and I was certain that I had the skills for it. I was wrong, nearly dead wrong. The King caught ...

Supers are spreading across the globe with no rhyme or reason. The governments declare war to keep the SuperVillains suppressed, but they don't stop there, fearing even those with good souls. Devon is a dentist with some quirks who saves a mother and her daughters, only to have the military betray him. He awakes in the future, confined to Vault 12 with nineteen of his peers. Virtual Voice
The virtual voice needs more inflection work. Still sounds too flat and became annoying to the point that I couldn’t finish the book. Story was otherwise pretty good and I may finish it by reading instead. I did like the sound of the voice though.
