About this listen

This is not your average, dull, academic treatise on government! Spread This Wealth is an easy-to-understand, common sense explanation of what is happening to American liberty and how average citizens can defend it. The author is an ordinary citizen with an extraordinary perspective on the wisdom of the Founding Fathers and the passion of the millions of men and women who have fought to gain and maintain the freedom all Americans enjoy. We are quickly losing those freedoms to our very own government today, and this non-partisan book is a "wake up call" to all Americans, as well as a shot across the bow of the present ship of state.

In the spirit of the modern day Tea Parties, C. Jesse Duke lays out the moral case against excessive government borrowing, bailouts, spending, taxing, and power grabbing! It gives readers a clear understanding of how government is robbing current and future generations of their freedom. But Spread This Wealth is not a rant against big government - it is a plan that freedom-loving citizens can use to shape the future of America, for their children and grandchildren. Part of this plan is the Fair Tax, and this book is the most easy-to-understand explanation of the Fair Tax available today.

This is an optimistic, uplifting book that brings clarity to the battle between socialism and liberty. Whether you are liberal, conservative, or independent, after hearing this book, you will never look at politics or economics in the same way again. And you'll never feel powerless over the "system" again. You will clearly see how Americans, if they vote intelligently, can create a nation of opportunity, prosperity, and security by embracing the wisdom of the Founders that has been passed down through history for such a time as this! This book makes the reader feel, believe, and know that he or she has the power to influence the world for good by taking a few simple steps!

Awesome, urgent, and absolutely necessary!

Just in time for the Revolution of 2010-12, this book lays out the moral and philosophical case for Americans' freedoms. It simplifies some complex ideas and explains clearly why we need to replace the wasteful, out-of-touch representatives who have perpetuated big government and doomed future generations to debt slavery. Mr. Duke gives a simple, workable, five-step plan that will be implemented if we ever get serious about being free again! This book also gives the most compelling synopsis of the Fair Tax available today. The narrator does a superb job of presenting the subject matter, as in other books of similar topics. A great listen that every American should hear, or read in paperback.
