Be whisked away to a sprite kingdom in this paranormal cozy mystery journey!
Would you join a book club that gets absorbed right into their cozy mysteries? These people did, and now they are hooked on traveling into books to become the amateur sleuths!
In this journey, the book club travels to the Kingdom of Everglow, where the royal family is rocked to the core when a key staff member falls dead at a community event. In the turmoil that follows, any evidence of what happened is destroyed, so they must go by the recollection of witnesses who were too busy enjoying the celebration to offer any valuable testimony. The royal family is further distressed when they return to the castle to see signs of a break in that somehow defied their complex security system. They wake the next day to discover that one member of the royal family has fallen into a deep, deathlike sleep.
Can the Snapdragon Inn Book Club uncover the plot behind this attack on the royal family? Can they find the antidote to wake the princess from her supernatural slumber? Can they bring peace back to the worried royal family and the frightened community? Let’s hope they can, since they must solve the mystery and reach The End to get out of the book and back to their home in Colorado.

I have heard a number of stories narrated by virtual voice now and while not as good as a human, you don't the Inflection a human would provide, I have found that it doesn't interfere with the enjoyment of a well written story and doesn't sound at all robotic. I would listen to another book narrated by virtual voice
A royal mystery

I’ve definitely adapted to the AI voice, and it didn’t distract me from the story at all as I listened to the audiobook.
The story is full of loveable characters, a whimsical plot, and an unexpected King that the author smoothly wraps around you like a warm blanket. The opening reveals a surprising plot twist. So smart of the author to keep Mollie as a ghost since she can literally be the “fly on the wall” for the book club group. The ending was a clever twist, and truly worked with the story of the book.
My review is voluntary and all comments and opinions are my own.
So much fun.

This installment of the Magical Mystery Book Club is even more paranormal than usual. The club enters a book world that has different colors for nature and is populated by sprites.
Their investigation is hindered by it involving the royal family. I suspected where the story was going but enjoyed it.
Another book adventure
