About this listen

THEY WON'T STAY DEAD.

A band of road-weary survivors struggle to find refuge from the living dead.

A family barricaded in their home hold fast as the living dead besiege their town.

Scientists working under the thumb of the United States government sequestered away in the Mount Weather Special Facility are trying desperately to understand why the dead are returning to life, and they might have found out why…

Stay Dead is a fast-paced journey through the ruined streets of a world gasping for one last breath.

Great Zombie style book

The story line is a pretty familiar one, but Wands does a terrific job with details and writing style. The narrator performs the story well.

One of those

This is one of those stories where you can quickly lose track of all the eooden characters, on the upside it's less upsetting when they get eaten.

Stay Dead!

I read a lot of books in the Zompoc genre, so I am pretty familiar with the standard storylines. For me, this book was OK, but there was nothing that really made it stand out. I had a hard time keeping track of all the characters and following their stories. There were a couple of unique items in the book that kept my interest. The books that are the most memorable in this genre are those with a really unique story or great character development. The characters in this book were very shallow and I never felt any connection to them.

The narrator did a good job and kept my interest. If you really love reading books about the undead, you will probably enjoy this book. There is plenty of zombie action, blood and gore for those of us that enjoy reading about the various ways that you can kill a zombie. I was given the chance to listen to this book by the author/narrator/publisher and chose to review it.

Amazing!

I loved these 2 books in this series and wish there were more! The characters were well thought out and believable. I love Zombie books! These are up on my list now! The author throws a monkey wrench in the second book that you never see coming! The narration was great as well had me hooked after the first couple of pages! if you like zombies... you gotta listen to this one!

Great survival story

Here's what I thought
Great writing, really descriptive, and twist on zombie stories that are out currently.George Romero style of suspense and narrative.

A bit longer then I expected, the reader did a great job. Anyone with a good imagination could picture everything going on in this book which usually means it is well written.

Thanks for story

Stay Dead

This book was just ok, the storyline is a very familiar one which meant the book didn't really stand out from the rest in this genre. There wasn't a lot of character development here so when they died I didn't care about them. A lot of characters just came and went. The narrator did a pretty decent job.

I was given a copy of this book for free of my own choosing and have voluntarily left this review.

Stereotypical Zombie Fare

Narration was good. Varied voices for different characters was good.

However, the story followed the usual path. One exception is their ability to communicate which opens up possibilities in future installments. My main problem with this book is that at least two plot lines seem identical to another book I’ve read with very minor differences. I’m not suggesting plagiarism occurred in this or the other book. It could be that the genre is really running out of steam. But, the similarities are very uncanny.
