About this listen

The Stealth Ops Series Box Set includes the following three Navy SEAL romantic suspense titles by Brittney Sahin: Finding His Mark, Finding Justice, and Finding the Fight.

Finding His Mark:

She's crashed the biggest party of her life, and she's about to pay the price.

As the leader of an off-the-books black ops SEAL team, Luke Scott can't afford for anyone to discover the truth about who he is or what he does. But when a critical mission gets botched by a member of an iconic Hollywood family, he'll have to fight to protect his team's identity, as well as keep himself from falling for the woman who's turned his life upside down.

Eva Sharp's the writer and co-producer for the hit TV series SEAL Security. While on break from filming, the last thing she expects is to end up in the middle of a real-life action scene--one that puts her life on the line. At first, she's not sure if she can trust this stranger in the mountains, even if he has military written all over him. But the more time she spends with him, the harder it is to fight the pull of attraction, without also jeopardizing his op.

They'll soon realize not everything is as it seems, and Luke will be forced to discover how far he's willing to go to find his mark.

Finding Justice:

They say the truth will set you free - if it doesn't bury you first.

As a Navy SEAL for a covert special ops team, Owen York has no time for relationships. But when he's forced to go on vacation, he finds himself falling for a sexy stranger, a woman who turns out to be linked not only to his latest assignment but to his past. Owen's spent years searching for his brother's killer, but now that he has a chance at revenge...he'll have to see how far he's willing to go for justice.

After losing her fiancé a decade ago, Samantha McCarthy lives and breathes her job at the Intelligence Committee. She puts everything, especially love, aside--until one day her world flips upside down, and she finds herself at the center of a massive government cover-up. Turning to Owen York for help is her only hope. What she doesn't count on is for him to knock down the walls around her heart.

Thrown together on a mission that's as personal as it is dangerous, Owen and Samantha will face their toughest challenge yet--and risk falling for each other in the process.

Finding the Fight:

Their well-kept secrets are about to unravel.

Former CIA officer Jessica Scott and Navy SEAL Asher Hayes have worked together for years as part of a black-ops team for the president, but Jessica's close encounter with death is about to change everything between them...

As the team hunts down her abductor and tries to prevent an impending attack, Asher will stop at nothing to protect the woman he cares about. But will his actions push Jessica, aka the Ice Queen, further away; or will he knock down her impenetrable walls?

With their pasts coming back to haunt them, and their insatiable desire for one another pushing them to the brink, Asher and Jessica will find themselves faced with impossible choices--ones that could topple their very world.

In this high-stakes mission, will they be able to find the fight inside of them to win - or will this be one mission that hits far too close to home?

Awesome box set

Finally it’s not just about the men and the weak women being rescued. All the women are bad asses in their own way. Loved it.

Great box set

If you haven’t started reading or listening to this series, start now. This box set has The first three books in this series. I must say I’m partial to book 3, Jessica and Asher. Brittney Sahin weaves a great story of intrigue and love. Once you start, you’ll be waiting for the next to be published. You’ll be rereading or listening to the more than once.

Finally heroines I can admire

I am so glad I gave this box set a try and discovered Sahin. I was so tired of romantic suspense stories where the woman is so utterly dependent on the guy to save her and the day. The heroines in these stories are smart, accomplished, dedicated and yet still flawed characters that I can actually identify with. Not once did I find myself yelling at the book over something idiotic the heroine did. The male leads are also really great and complex, and the suspense plot moves along parallel to the give and take of the developing relationships. Very well done, and I will definitely be reading the rest of the series.

Very entertaining stories and performances

This is a 3 book set. The books are full of suspense, great action, and with a romance blooming in each book. The steamy sex scenes are a no for me, but I am able to skip those. The suspense, action, and characters of the stories overcome that. I loved the first 2 books. The 3rd book has too much violence and torture for me. I had to skip those scenes. This really is a very entertaining series and the performances are very good. I rated the first book 4 stars, the second one 5 stars, and the third one 3 stars due to the horrible torture. Still, this set is well worth the cost.

Better than expected

I really like the strong women alongside the crazy strong men. It’s a nice change. Overall great story and narration. The mans voice was a little mechanical. But overall good.

Action, adventure, and lots of love!

These are the first three books in Brittney Sahin’s Stealth Ops series. I love everything about the stories. The characters speak to you! The plots are exciting and keep you on your toes! Each book can be read as a stand alone but when you put the books together you get so much more depth to the characters and stories. Highly recommend these books and this author!

Awesome book

Another Brittney Sahin book that hits it out of the park. The characters are hot alpha males and the women are smart and funny . I’ve read these books but when I listened to them I found so much more details to the stories and the characters . As far as I’m concerned this series is just awesome and hots all the emotions .

Good stories good chemistry

Enjoyed the story lines & plots. Characters are interesting. Jeffrey Kafer is a great narrator for these types of action stories. Heather has a great narrator voice but I almost cringed when she read male lines, especially when they were under duress… her voice is too feminine for those voices. Will definitely listen to both narrators again.

Decent light listen but the series gets monotonous

This review covers the whole series.

It is a decent light listen but don't expect anything significantly new from each book in the series. It is as if the author has a basic template to be able to churn out books as quickly as possible without having to put much thought or original writing into it. All the books follow it, which got monotonous, predictable, and irritating e.g

All the men have beards and wear ball caps
One of the main characters in each book always has a southern drawl or dimples
Instead of describing the characters and give them unique looks, they all resemble famous actors and actresses
As soon as the characters get together the women are almost continously pregnant
The women somehow get involved in some mission being carried out and the guys spill the beans on what they really do
They are always making gestures which almost no one in real life make (e.g. standing and putting their hand in prayer position below their chin, or falling down to their knees when hearing bad news) and descriptions of hand gestures are a bit silly, there are better ways to write it.

The romantic chemistry in some books are better but very flat in others, luckily the suspense plots saved the ones where the romance were a bit flat. The plots sometimes do have some holes with detail missing, it seems a bit rushed. The timelines in the last few books were strange, with the stories taking place in 2022 even though the books were published in 2021.

The narrators are good and their American accents were fine but their foreign accents were terrible and just annoying.

If you are just looking for a book to listen to in the background that don't require a lot of concentration or contain intense emotion, then these books are fine. I'm not sure if each book is worth a credit since it is the same format for each book. If it where box sets per credit, for a the books and not only the 1st 3, it would be more reasonable.
