Still a Mistress explores the gritty world of good girls gone bad, lured by money and men. A year after the tragic death of her family, Oshyn is still trying to piece together what’s left of her life. While struggling to return to a drama-free world, she is optimistic about her future. Little does she know that her cousin, Chloe, has reappeared to finish what she started: a vindictive cycle of mayhem.
When Chloe finds herself in water that’s too deep, a face from her past comes back to haunt her. She ends up pulling out every trick in the book, determined to make it to the top. Get ready to enter a heart-pounding world of danger while Oshyn and Chloe take you on a ride you’ll never forget. Still a Mistress is sexually charged, and tests the boundaries of revenge when family vows to fight until death.

OK so here come the spoilers and just a couple reasons why I thought this one in particular was so farfetched. Raping a dead man? Chloe is messed up, but idk if I believe she'd have stuck around the crime scene and done that-- and in front of Bella no less. And I don't believe for a second Chloe would have kept Bella alive. I could see how she'd take pity on the baby, just due to Brooklyn being the father, but Bella was a real liability. How could she trust Bella to stay quiet while her car was valeted near the end of the story?! Also, the lady that hooked up with Chloe in the bathroom at the party, only to later reveal herself as an FBI agent and part of Chloe's arrest team. No one would ever have put their job (not to mention the case!) in jeopardy like that no matter how horny they were. Would just never happen. You know IRL Chloe would have been screaming about that incident hoping to get out of her predicament. It's things like that that kind of irked me. But hey I was entertained, definitely didn't hate this, and am about to listen to the third... so I'm not compaining too much!! :)
Farfetched, but I guess so are a lot of books
