About this listen
I never thought I'd say those words, especially to a man like Beau Weaton, whose wife looks like a quintessential Kardashian. My adorably geeky Greg would never: A—cheat on me in the first place, and B—attract attention from the likes of Trish Wheaton.
But when signs that he's cheating start to pile up, Beau and I gear up for a secret trip of our own: a good old-fashioned sting op!
When the two of us eventually wind up single, I can't help but feel drawn to Beau, the one man who knows the depths of my pain. The trouble is, Beau Wheaton would never fall for a woman like me after losing a trophy wife like Trish.
But when the signs that he likes me start to pile up, my hopes start to rise up.
Please tell me I'm not setting myself up for another broken heart.
Welcome to the Fortysomething Singles of Virginia Beach Club.
They never guessed they'd be here, but here they are.
Alone, divorced, or maybe never married, and looking for love in their forties.
Follow along as these singles navigate the ins and outs of a complicated venture better suited for those in their youth—dating.
Good thing they make some great friends along the way; their circumstances might be laughable, but at least won't be laughing alone. In fact, they may end up laughing all the way to the altar.
The Forty-Something Singles of Virginia Beach Series features closed-door rom-coms filled with romance, humor, and hope in the midst of hardship.

Life goes on and Kirsten and Bo are drawn to each other. But she's so unlike his ex that the adults in their respective lives, including her, distrusts that he will stick around. Of course they pan out but it was definitely not the HEA either imagined.
A fun listen that had me in awe as the couples essentially switched partners. The AI narrator was okay for this story.

As much as I dislike virtual voice I can overlook it for a good book, which this was not. The plot was difficult to follow, it was hard to discern whose voice was telling the story and it jumped through time with no explanation. Of the over 300 books in my library this is one of two that I couldn’t bring myself finish.
Not a great read
