Do you want to know how to use machine learning to develop a trading strategy for Stocks?

Stock market investing can be fun, interesting, and exciting! Remember that knowledge is power. By listening to this book, you are taking the first step on your journey to becoming a successful investor. Nearly every single time on the markets, those who are educated on how the markets operate are the winners.

My aim is to allow you the chance to take the wheel in your own hands and direct your ship in this veritable ocean of financial information. You definitely will not learn all that you need to learn - it would be foolhardy of me to make this claim - but you can be assured that after going through this, you will definitely have the knowledge to make smarter decisions for yourself with regard to gaining wealth in the financial markets.

I would have to say that if you can get machine learning algorithm to work for you, it will be revolutionary to how you handle stocks. In fact, if machine-learning proves to be extremely successful, I think that the average person will begin to engage themselves more with the stock market. A huge barrier with the stock market is simply understanding how it works and it is not easy to find resources that are willing to divulge this information to you. I find this to be ironic because the more people that are in the stock market, the more money that can be made. If the stock market only had one person in it, it wouldn't make any money. However, because millions of people around the world are playing the stock market game, billions to trillions are traded annually.

This book will show you:

  • Fundamentals of stocks investing
  • Using machine learning to develop a trading strategy for stocks
  • The keys to stock investing
  • Machine learning to determine value of current stocks

Improve your financial status.

This was a great book, with ways to improve your financial situations with certain strategies and procedures. Love this and can't wait to share what i learned with others.

I learned how to better read charts, decide entry and exit timing and strategies to pick stocks to trade in.

It was a very helpful proof of the concept plan, so it was very important. So far, I've read a recent book. Easy and easy to understand. Suggest a very good book!

Up to the expectation

With algo trading, the trades are executed in fractions of seconds, with precision and without the effect of such human interventions. Because of the high-end technology and the benefits, algo trading is quite profitable. Having completed "AI for everyone" and 3 out of 5 for the "deep learning specialization", I found quite a few concepts such as the "short history of ML" quite basic, especially week 4's content which was very basic and not trading related. But overall it was good having a refresher from a different perspective. On the positive side, as someone who has worked in Quant funds prior to the popularity of ML neural networks, I really enjoyed listening to William Bahl's in-depth walkthrough of the ML applications in quant strategies. I'm quite looking forward to the rest of the courses in this specialization and will give this 5 stars despite a few minor glitches which are expected for a new course. This course makes everything easier. It is structured very user friendly for understanding the forest rather than the trees. I have taken courses in Python, Jupyter Notebook, ARIMA forecasting, Linear regression and other Finance and Probability courses to fully appreciate this course. If you dont have these basic knowledge and if they ask you to code every detail, then it would have been impossible. Good job Google and New York Institue of Finance.

Wordage is easy William Bahl

This book is well-written but with an approachable, friendly tone. It is full of practical advice and very well-organized, covering a detailed overview of the basics of daytrading and the various markets.

I started to read it and found it hard to put down. It does not contain empty promises and get-rich-quick schemes but describes the preparation, temperament and goal-setting necessary to succeed in day trading.

I thought this book was an outstanding introduction to day trading and what it takes to be a trader.

With tons of examples

Excellent! But, I am missing some of the prerequisites since I just wanted to take a chance and try things out, but feel like proceeding further might lead to some stumbling blocks.

Well explained and terms were defined as well

Machine Learning offers the number of important advantages over traditional algorithmic programs. The New York Institute of Finance offers a professional education course on Electronic Trading taught by Wall Street professionals with decades of experience. You'll learn how markets worked before electronic trading and how you can leverage trading technology and data to build a successful trading strategy. The process can accelerate the search for effective algorithmic trading strategies by automating what is often a tedious, manual process. It also increases the number of markets an individual can monitor and respond to. William Bahl is a brilliant trader and teacher. His comprehensive guide on "How to Use Machine Learning to Enhance Your Stock Investment" made it easier for us to understand the markets since we are beginners in day trading. Anyone can benefit from Bahl's unique ideas and approach to day trading. In terms or overall orders on the exchanges, it is 97 percent. In the US, algo trading accounts for anywhere between 80-85 percent of trading but then they have been doing it for decades. Thank you Bahl.

informative investing guide!

good introductory to ML and AI. however in the context of mostly trading, which is typically a regression problem. useful for some one who is new to ML and looking to learn or get exposed to possible use cases of ML and AI. Advanced users, probably know most of these techniques

This is a great book, all the diagrams are cool in the ebook version, I found this a little confusing, however, the information was perfect for me as a complete novice!

Feel comfortable

The book is amazing as it tells you literally everything "basic" you need to know about how the market works and how to trade PLUS those great nuggets that help you know what good traders do. Very happy with the Stock Trading Strategies Using Machine Learning, which has a refreshing approach. The author's writing is relaxed, yet direct, which helped take the stress out of learning the skills to make quality trading decisions. This quote from the introduction caught my attention and made me fell like I was reading the right book. He said, "By listening to this book, you are taking the first step on your journey to becoming a successful investor. Nearly every single time on the markets, those who are educated on how the markets operate are the winners." Knowing the right questions helped me understand what I was missing in my trading. The author's extensive experience comes through his writing, which inspires confidence. He incorporates multiple aspects of trading giving the reader a full set of tools and a comprehensive plan. I'm a more confident and profitable trader after reading this book.
